  • The Facts - my reply to the Peoria Journal Star on their endorsement of Obama

Well, it's hardly suprising that the PJS supporta Obama. They have supported him all along with incredibly biased coverage in favor of The One. Even in their endorsement, they gloss over the truth about Obama. The facts are that McCain is a demostrated true fiscal conservative and is dedicated to bringing Federal spending under control. Yes, McCain is a social issues moderate, but that's being a moderate, not an extreme leftist that Obama clearly is. McCain opposes the murder of innocent babies. Obama supports infanticide. This a fact. McCain supports tax policies that truthfully reflect who actually pays taxes and...

My wife works for a corporation where one of the board members emailed "everyone all locations" (many offices across the US) about the upcomming election. He indicated that he "hesitated" to share his reccomendation with everyone, but many people have asked him which candidate would be more helpful to the company. But the biggest issue before the voters is the war, in respect of which Mr. Bush is, compared to the man from Massachusetts, the greater leader offering the more inspiring vision. ... this newspaper is with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth and the veterans of the communist dungeons in North Vietnam who will be appearing in advertisements in the final weeks of this campaign. We, too, find it difficult...

While his support among voters dwindles, the John Kerry alliance of elites is growing. Failed Democratic candidates love him. Unnamed European leaders from Kerry's imagination support him. Dictators, socialists and terrorists are hoping for a Kerry victory in November. Prominent Democrats are rushing to the Kerry bandwagon. On Sunday, Gov. Howard Dean, fresh off his massive Vermont primary victory, endorsed Kerry as someone who would "make a far better president than George Bush." Kerry politely declined Dean's request to "yell with me, Lurch." On Monday, Rev. Al Sharpton halfheartedly endorsed Kerry, pledging not to attack the Massachusetts milquetoast. Sharpton also...
