  • Ron Paul: "They keep coming back and doing the same thing... and yet it's a total failure"

Dr. Paul discusses Biden's remarks at the NATO summit where he said high gas prices would remain for "as long as it takes" to defeat Russia. He says the public aren't buying it pointing to a recent survey where only 6% of respondents blamed Putin for high gas prices. I've transcribed some of it here: "Just think of the incidents where the propaganda was much more thorough and convincing to get the American people really riled up you know so quickly after World War Two that we had to send the kids off and many of them being killed you...

Many House GOPers voted the other night to send $40 billion worth of "aid" to Ukraine. I haven't checked but I'm guessing this was a supplemental which means that nothing was cut and this is extra borrowed money. Surely this undermines the party's message on financial prudence and of the inflation problem as they have effectively voted to make it worse! I presume this will have enough votes in the Senate and they will get their way. My question is to conservatives who believe in America First where do we go from here? It's very hard to just primary dozens...

Some of those who follow these things closely will know that our own Matt Bracken co-hosts a popular podcast on a Sunday (3 pm). However due to family or work commitments it seems he's not been able to do it last few weeks.... I believe Matt should be on the MSM never mind confined to some obscure YouTube channel because he’s that good. I would really appreciate his analysis of the Ukraine situation (although Neocon Freepers may not). So the question is will Matt make a return this week?

U.S. Sen. Rand Paul’s re-election campaign announced on Monday they have raised $3.8 million for Kentucky’s junior Senator’s 2022 re-election campaign in the final quarter of 2021. The fundraising haul brings Paul’s total raised to $14 million throughout the entire year and leaves him with $8 million cash on hand, according to his campaign. Paul garnered 89,508 donations in the last quarter of 2021, and over 250,000 donations during the course of the year. “Individuals from every corner of the commonwealth, along with those who stand for liberty nationwide, continue to support Dr. Paul’s movement,” said Jake Cox, Deputy Campaign...

In this extended interview, I ask Dr. Paul about his latest confrontation with Dr. Anthony Fauci. Fauci recently said that his critics, like Senator Paul, are "really criticizing science, because I represent science.” That’s arrogant. Paul calls it “reminiscent of the medieval Church,” and he says new evidence proves Fauci did in fact play a part in funding gain of function research in China. We also discuss the rise of inflation in America, and Paul’s fear that irresponsible politicians could destroy the dollar. Extended Interview [30 mins] ...

Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul lashed out at critics who called him a hypocrite for requesting federal funds when his state was devastated by tornadoes, but he has a lengthy history of opposing disaster-relief bills, The Washington Post reported. On Saturday, the morning after a storm created historic tornadoes, Paul wrote President Joe Biden a letter asking him to move "expeditiously to approve the appropriate resources for our state." The most damage and destruction hit Kentucky, with more than 70 people killed. "We should do all we can to help our Kentucky neighbors. God be with them — they are...

Sen. Rand Paul sharply criticized the “politicized” FBI and the Department of Justice, calling for more whistleblowers to expose government trampling of American liberties. “I think anytime someone is breaking the law in government, it’s a good idea to hear about it,” the Kentucky Republican said in a Thursday interview with The Daily Signal. “And so, frankly, yes, I think it is a good idea for people to reveal when the government’s breaking the rules.” Paul’s remarks follow news that the head of the FBI’s Criminal and Counterterrorism divisions reportedly ordered agents Oct. 20 to identify threats against school board...

Superman & Lois isn’t pushing boundaries like its contemporaries. It also doesn’t have to.TELEVISION AND STREAMING IS BOMBARDED with subversive superhero stories. Shows like Invincible and The Boys on Amazon and Jupiter’s Legacy on Netflix tell of dark superheroes who plot and scheme like the villains they’re meant to defeat. With the juggernaut Marvel Cinematic Universe ruling the big screen, it’s TV where audiences get their fill of powerful beings who are flawed like us: jealous, dangerous, even reckless. But one superhero show soars away from the pack, and it’s not because its superhero is even darker or more flawed than...

Russian President Vladimir Putin and some of his top officials took a break from state affairs ahead of Putin’s birthday, spending a few days hiking, hillwalking, and even driving offroad in the thick of the Siberian wilderness. Days off are a rare occurrence in Putin’s tight schedule. When he manages to get a few of them away from the Kremlin, he usually spends the time in the country’s wilderness enjoying the nature and its calm. This time, the Russian president chose the Siberian taiga forest to go on a hike ahead of his October 7 birthday.

Quick. Name an innovation leader in the field of technology. If you chose Samsung over Apple, then you should visit an ophthalmologist. Or, a psychiatrist. Or, both.If you chose Google over Apple then you can be excused for your oversight as you’re merely a pawn being manipulated by the technorati elite who have yet to fully grasp the various forms of innovation. If you chose Apple, then you’re obviously a well bred, highly educated person with a good perspective on reality.PR Fluff vs. Reality Google makes the vast majority of revenue and profits the old fashioned way– search engine advertising....

Apple Watch. Seems like Apple has a hit on its corporate hands. Or a preorder hit. The company sold a million Apple Watches in the first 24 hours—just in the U.S.—according to one piece of analysis. That would make it the most successful new product category launch in Apple's history—so what do you do if you've been talking smack about it for months? If you're Roger Kay, you stuff a straw man full of nonsensical numbers that will allow you to declare the device a failure no matter what. It's a neat trick so long as no one applies a...

Right now, it’s drizzling on Friday evening, November 9, and I’m seated in the packed sports pub just across from the massive cineplex, attempting to relax my mind by looking out the window at the ticket lines and at the teenyboppers, in hooded sweaters, staring at the poster mural of the final Twilight soap opera. I’m drinking a glass of Stolichnaya vodka as I try to grasp the rainfall of images that I remember from the movie just ended. I have seen minarets in a Turkish skyline. I have seen decrepit buildings in London and crowded passageways of a bazaar...
