Threatened shopkeepers used 30-round magazines to fire warning shots and avoid taking lives. Bans on high-capacity magazines (variously defined as those holding more than ten, fifteen, or twenty rounds) seem to be part of just about every law to ban assault weapons. I have reviewed all fourteen known "amendments" to S. 1805. NONE of them are acceptable! Some are merely inappropriate for inclusion with S. 1805, others are the answer to a question that does not need to be asked, or "problems" that do not exist. Ellett Brothers, one of the largest firearm distribution companies in the U.S., has suddenly instituted a new policy for all firearms dealers who do business in any state which borders Kalifiornia! They are calling all licensed dealers who have accounts with them and DEMANDING that the dealers send them pics of the inside and out side of their stores. They are allowing dealers thirty days to provide them with the pics.
