If you've ever wondered what a 1911 pistol shooting at -65°F in slow motion would look like, check out this awesome video. The 1911 has a reputation for being an incredibly reliable pistol. Well, this incredible slow motion video of a Remington R1 1911 pistol shooting at -65°F just does even more to show what an incredible firearm the 1911 is capable of. Now that is some great reliability under COLD conditions. I was extremely impressed by the fact that the 1911 was even able to chamber a second bullet after firing. Did you notice the frost coming off the...
  • Two Resistances

The quiet resistance — the one without black masks and clubs — is the more revolutionary force, and it transcends race, class, and gender. After the election of Donald Trump, there arose a self-described “Resistance.” It apparently posed as a decentralized network of progressive activist groups dedicated to derailing the newly elected Trump administration. Democrats and progressives borrowed their brand name from World War II French partisans. In rather psychodramatic fashion, they envisioned their heroic role over the next four years as that of virtual French insurgents — coming down from the Maquis hills, perhaps to waylay Trump’s White House,...
  • Beware of this Cannon Shooter

It’s probably wise not to shoot cannons with this guy. Even a cannon this small is an issue if you don’t adhere to safety protocols. Witness the worst cannon shooter ever, and be glad you were not nearby. I guess this fellow forgot just how dangerous black powder really is. Loading up a tiny cannon for backyard fun is a great way to spend the Labor day weekend. However, it is generally a good idea to keep open bottle of black powder a little farther away there, genius. The cannon fires and a spark drops down the funnel, straight into...

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? Well, in this case, this homemade pistol is quite blasphemy to many Glock enthusiasts. Witness for yourself the homemade Glock that is nothing short of dismal. These photos were shared on an all-Russian forum. Somewhere in Russia, one basement tinkerer is very proud of his creation. From a distance it resembles a beat up that just got runned over Glock pistol. Note it lacks the Glock Safety Trigger. See the rest of this DIY glock here.
  • Secret Hitler, a Game That Simulates Fascism’s Rise, Becomes a Hit

I was house-sitting for my brother this summer when I saw something suspicious: a box in his living room emblazoned with the words “Secret Hitler.” On his return, I confronted him. “What in God’s name is that?” I asked, pointing at the box. “It’s a board game,” he said, rolling his eyes. More specifically, Secret Hitler is a social deduction game, one that has caught on quickly since it began to ship to players last summer. It’s like Mafia, or Werewolf, or other games in which players try to identify a traitor in their midst. In this version, anywhere between...
  • Illicit Manufacture of Handguns in Australia

Australia has one of the strictest firearms regulatory schemes in Western Civilization. It has not appreciably changed their overall murder or suicide or accidental death rates, which were already low and falling when the scheme was implemented. As Australia is an continent considerably separated from the rest of the industrialized world, it is a near ideal test case for the efficacy of gun control schemes. A figure from an Australian government report on sources of illegal guns shows that when guns are tightly regulated, criminals find ways around the regulation.

It’s never wise to shoot at propane tanks. This guy shoots a bunch with a .50 BMG rifle. This is nothing short of insane. Mothers everywhere need to look away from this video. This guy does something no parent would suggest. YouTuber Edwin Sarkissian decided, why not shoot propane tanks with a .50 BMG rifle? He lights road flares on the tanks, gets back a little ways, and then… boom! Two tanks get punctured and twirl in the air. The propane gas then ignites into an infernal that engulfs everything. Safe, right? In the shooting sports, we urge gun safety....
  • 4 Things that makes the Sig P220 better than the 1911

We keep hearing the never-ending “1911 vs. Glock” argument. The two guns are as different as apples and oranges. It’s time to step it up and compare apples to badass apples with the REAL argument: which is better, the 1911 or the Sig Sauer P220? I've always been a Sig Sauer fanboy and it all started when I got my first Sig Sauer P226 then wandered over to the P220 in .45 ACP years ago. At the time, I was sporting a Colt M1991A1 that I had spent hours working on, lovingly going through and modifying, upgrading to suit my...

Brock Osweiler is headed back to the Denver Broncos, and people are not happy he got picked up before Colin Kaepernick. Osweiler, who played for the Broncos two seasons ago, was resigned by Denver almost immediately following getting cut by the Cleveland Browns. As you can imagine, people were not happy Osweiler has a job and Kaepernick doesn’t. Brock Osweiler has a job and Colin Kaepernick does not. Just let that sink in. #Kaepernick #BrockOsweiler — Ashley Galpin (@AGalpin1) September 3, 2017 I think Kaepernick + Broncos D would give them 11 wins. But no, go ahead, sign Osweiler.

This is why shotguns have shoulder stocks. Would you shoot a shotgun turned into a pistol? This guy did, and his reaction is priceless. Ever wonder why shotguns comes standard with shoulder stocks? Well, it’s because of the incredible amount of recoil they can produce. That is why a pistol chambered for a 12-gauge shotgun shell (600 grain) is a really bad idea. In a video shared on Youtube by The Canadian Gun Vault Inc. Story has it that this shotgun had been designated as a pistol. That strange occurrence happened through a shipping error and the laws then considered...

Tired of anti-gun, anti-freedom Facebook posts? Next time one pops up, just drop one of these patriotic Second Amendment memes as your response. Memes are often used in social media conversations when real thinking is lacking. Most of them are pretty lame but can be very funny. So here are ten Second Amendment memes that make sense, are intelligent and cut to the quick of any anti-gun, anti-liberty nonsense talk you may encounter. Use them freely and prejudicely! This one requires a little thinking of the viewer. That may be asking a lot of many anti-gun zealots, but the juxtaposition...
  • Shoot with both Eyes Open

    08/31/2017 6:41:00 AM PDT · by w1n1 · 38 replies
Shotgun coach Nick Penn states much of common shooting wisdom is incorrect. He helps shooters “shoot straight” with both eyes open. According to U.K. shooting coach Nick Penn, half of the people who take shotgun shooting lessons are wasting their money. Why? He says it’s because they’re told to shoot with one eye shut. Penn maintains that shooting with both eyes open is essential. But there’s more to it than that, Penn says. You should go by feel—more than barrel or bead reference—when you pull the trigger. He says shooting is the only sport in which the proper techniques and...

You read the title right, all by himself. All the folks who believe that "nobody needs a gun to save themselves, let alone a gun that can hold more than seven bullets" need to see this CCTV footage. That day could have been a disaster, but thankfully one man was able to protect the property and lives of many. These cowards abandoned their malicious plan as soon they saw a gun. A lot of the details of the story are unsure, but some say it took place in Thailand. The video took place at a nursing school where the 13...

Should it matter? There have been some discussions on the internet about Glock plastic sights as to whether its useful or not. Yes, many will customize it with other aftermarket sights. But is there really something wrong with having plastic sights on the Glocks? Some are saying that it can be ripped off, what when you’re low crawling? Low light condition? There’s some points there, but don’t the sights still work? Here’s some of that conversation on Reddit & Facebook: GoodGuyGlockerG17: It’s a matter of personal opinion, of course. I really dislike them. To me, there’s nothing about the dot...

On August 15, 2017, a 42-year-old man jumped a fence at a roadside cafe and tried to feed some caged bears. One of the bear grabbed his arm and bit it off at the shoulder. A man from the Shelekhov district of the Irkutsk region was seen in the distance on a closed circuit security camera jumping a fence to approach some caged bears. The man, Andrey Sakharovsky, was carrying a plastic bag with some cans of condensed milk which he had intended to feed to the animals, which are a part of the cafe’s roadside attraction. Sadly, Sakharovsky got...

AR-15 rifles are not immune to the dreaded kaboom. Like any firearm, it can fail if improperly loaded with bad ammunition, or maybe other factors. Does someone smell a squib bullet with another bullet fired into the back of it?Well, it appears all the parts are there, how come it doesn’t fire?I think, the bottom of an AR-15 rifle is not supposed to look like that.
