JERUSALEM – Members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials. The officials said dozens of ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq. The Jordanian officials said all ISIS members who received U.S. training to fight in Syria were first vetted for any...

Last Friday, GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney disclosed his tax returns and health records. In particular, the release of the tax information was a pleasant surprise –released without pre-announcement or fanfare. Romney gave information that dates back to 1990 which ought to close Harry Reid’s mouth for a time .....–it would be absolutely wonderful if the “right” would get such a disclosed-documentary surprise from President Barack Obama. ...What are Americans on the “left” afraid of learning about Obama? Simple curiosity would demand that Obama’s academic records be released –let alone really wanting to know about the past of the man...

The Shavuot holiday in Kochav Yaakov turned tense when Arabs entered the settlement late Saturday night – causing warning sirens to sound. The town, where parents and children alike were out in synagogues to study in honor of the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai, found itself rushing to find children, shutter windows, and bar its doors as the IDF responded to the threat. Ilan Malachi told Arutz Sheva about the tension that gripped the Binyamin region community. "We call the emergency squad, and a friend said that apparently there is Arabs had infiltrated into the community. It was...

It's rarely convincing when tea party activists brush off attacks on the movement by claiming that the bad apples at their rallies are really agents provocateurs. That's just too convenient. Sometimes, the people who make you look bad actually are part of your movement. But a videographer at this weekend's Fancy Farm political celebration in Kentucky hounded a man wearing Rand Paul swag and holding up a racist anti-immigrant sign, badgered him to reveal who he was. The cameraman caught back up with him when, later, the man walked with supporters Paul's opponent, Jack Conway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4bpgnkNN7Q

Thanks to a tipster we may have identified the "long haired bleeping gnome" featured in Lefty Infiltrator exposes his true colors at Denver Tea Party 4-15-2010. It now appears that he was NOT a lefty infiltrator and for that I apologize. If you watched the video I'm sure you can all understand how I could have made that honest mistake. Just to clarify - after reading his bio and doing a quickie Google dive on our long haired bleeping gnome - I can make no claim as to the nature of his political persuasion. I can claim finding more red...

Here is video of a man telling Neil Cavuto yesterday that a person at Democrat John Dingell's recent Town Hall Meeting in Michigan seen carrying an "Obama as Hitler" sign was also seen after the event outside handing out Dingell literature. The man said, "it appears he was part of the Dingell operation to start with." It has become a fashionable Democrat talking point this week to say the anti-ObamaCare protesters showing up at events are carrying "Swastikas" or that they are "Nazis." . . . . . (Watch Video)

Just who is Hesham Islam? Is he a Jihadist mole in the State Department? Hesham Islam is a special assistant for international affairs to Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England. He is a retired US Navy officer, born in Egypt, who served in the Iranian navy. Does he still have ties to Egypt and/or Iran? Hesham Islam works closely with the Muslim-American community. WorldNetDaily reports that Mr. Islam is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America, which U.S. prosecutors last year named as a member of the U.S. branch of the Muslim Brotherhood and an unindicted co-conspirator in a major...

These days, it seems, you need a college degree just to live in or around New York City. Almost 5 million people over the age of 25 in the New York metropolitan area — more than a third of the region’s population — had at least a bachelor’s degree in 2005, according to the latest data from the Census Bureau. In Manhattan, nearly three out of five residents were college graduates and one out of four had advanced degrees, forming one of the highest concentrations of highly educated people in any American city. The degree-holders are rapidly displacing the dropouts,...

What really goes on inside Cindy Sheehan's Crawford camp? Is it really about grassroots activists joining together, or has she merely been used by political operatives in Ben Cohen's San Francisco-based nonprofit? Friday's Rusty Humphries show (where I filled in as host), featured Curtis Loftis, a conservative activist who managed to get direct access to nearly everyone in Sheehan's group, merely by blending in.

Roberts took the side of pro racial preferences and quotas in the rice vs cayatano case giving racial preferences to native hawaii islanders. He argued this before the supreme court. And look who he argued against and with will tell you all you need to know about the "fake conservative" Roberts. Judge Bork, Ted Olson, took the side arguing before the supreme court against the racial preferences in quotas arguing against Roberts. Roberts took the side of U.S solicitor general waxman in the clinton administration arguing for the racial preferences. This Roberts guy is another Souter on social issues. Roberts...
