I love letting progressive liberals speak freely as they will eventually let their true thoughts slip out. Such was the case yesterday when Senator Dick Durbin (Illinois) had an exchange with Ted Cruz during Cruz's marathon 21 hour speech. As is the case with liberals, they never argue facts but just attempt to use emotion to bolster their already weak arguments. Dick Durbin spun the story of a housekeeper "Judy" who works at a motel and has become friends with Durbin. This occurred when Dick Durbin couldn't answer Ted Cruz's question of whether or not Durbin had actually read the...

Judge Judy Quizzes ‘Moron’ to Whom Taxpayers Have Given $70,000 ...so far. But the narcissistic, taxpayer-funded third-year college student wants to keep the party going. Clearly the "rich" have to pay more so this "musician" can continue his life of indulgence, ripoff, and squalor. Watch it quick, it won't last long.

By Associated Press Published January 17, 2007, 4:12 PM CST LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- An escaped chimpanzee at the Little Rock Zoo raided a kitchen cupboard and did a little cleaning with a toilet brush before sedatives knocked her out on top of a refrigerator. The 120-pound primate, Judy, escaped yesterday into a service area when a zookeeper opened a door to her sleeping quarters, unaware the animal was still inside. As keepers tried to woo Judy back into her cage, she rummaged through a refrigerator where chimp snacks are stored. She opened kitchen cupboards, pulled out juice and soft...

The joke goes like this. A guy hires a new secretary. The first thing he does is call her into his office and says, "There are two words I don’t ever want to hear from you. One is swell, and the other is lousy." The woman dutifully jots this information down in her steno book and says, "Oh, OK. What are the words?" I thought of this the other day when I read a Los Angeles Times story. The article reported that Vice President Dick Cheney and Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia had gone duck hunting together. There’s a case...

HELENA -- Democrat Brian Schweitzer already has raised more $254,000 for his race for governor in 2004, a total that he says has shattered fund-raising records for Montana gubernatorial candidates. He filed a fund-raising report Monday. Schweitzer, who narrowly lost to U.S. Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont., raised $254,903 from Jan. 8 through March 31, despite refusing to take money from political action committees and political parties. His campaign reported $229,377 in the bank at the close of the reporting period. The Democrat said he has received money from 1,843 individual donors, with 91 percent from Montana. He and his wife,...
