A driver arrested after a crash and police pursuit Thursday claimed sovereign nation status and said she did not have to follow Massachusetts laws, police said. Abington police saw Jessica Davis, 36, of Bridgewater, hit a vehicle and take off on Route 18, police said. The officer and a State Police trooper pursued Davis’ vehicle.
