On Saturday a four-year old boy fell into a gorilla enclosure at the Cincinnati Zoo. Sadly the gorilla, named Harambe, was shot and killed by zoo officials to save the life of the child, sparking outrage on social media. The most ludicrous of the objections came from those who actually believed the gorilla was killed because of racism. Conservative author and commentator Mark Dice uncovered some of the most outrageous tweets, including a slew that referred to the child as a “white boy” and one that called the killing an act of “white privilege.” As Dice pointed out in his...

Police and EMTs were called to the zoo at about 4 p.m. for reports that a gorilla was "slamming the child into the wall." Maynard said the boy crawled through a barrier and landed in the moat. He was walking and splashing. Harambe, a 17-year-old male gorilla weighing more than 400 pounds, picked up the boy, Maynard said....

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—It’s a horrific story of man’s best friend becoming a woman’s worst nightmare. A Northeast Baltimore woman was attacked and killed by her own dog. Rochelle Ritchie reports the pit bull had attacked before but was back in the owner’s custody. Advocates say the attack should not have happened. The woman had a huge gash on her face from a previous attack from her dog. Terry Douglass, 56, is the latest victim in Baltimore City to be killed by a pit bull, a dog she’s raised since it was a puppy.

Ronald McInnis, spokesman for the Quebec Provincial Police told...

(CNN) -- Police in Canada are looking into the deaths of two young boys who appear to have been strangled by a python. The boys, ages 5 and 7, were found dead Monday morning at an apartment in Campbellton, New Brunswick. They had been sleeping over at a friend's apartment above a reptile store, according to a statement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Early indications suggest that a snake from the store escaped its enclosure, got into the ventilation system, then the apartment, and strangled the two boys, the statement said.
