Has the Associated Press had a change of heart, or are they just covering their bases in the final days of the election? Regardless, the Associated Press, has finally reported a story that should be particularly disturbing to all Americans. The President of the United States has, by definition, two primary roles as both the Commander in Chief and as the nations Chief Enforcement Officer. The role of the executive branch is to assure the enforcement of the laws passed by the legislative branch and signed by the President. So my question this morning is simple: How is Barack Obama...

On John Gibson's Fox news radio show, Tom "still The Hammer" DeLay says Barack Obama wants to rewrite the Constitution because he is a well established Marxist, not just a Socialist. America is at a moment of national crisis that will determine its future. Will it continue to lead the world’s economies or will it be overtaken? Will the world become safer or more dangerous? Will our military remain the strongest in the world? Will our children and grandchildren’s future be brighter than ours? I believe our answer is a resounding “Yes!” But we must elect a president who is prepared to do more than just offer eloquent words. At a time of economic crisis and international conflict, America can’t afford to take a gamble on what the Star Tribune describes...

- - In the final stretch of the campaign, John McCain is trying to hold on to Florida's Hispanic voters, while Barack Obama is focused on getting Democrats to the polls. The ghosts of elections past emerged in Florida on Friday as Al Gore stumped for Barack Obama and John McCain's campaign vowed to match George W. Bush's record ad-spending and absentee-ballot success. In the final weekend before Election Day, Florida remains in play as one of the most pivotal states in the nation for the presidential race. Both campaigns have focused their battleground strategy on trying to avoid the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — Barack Obama's aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned. Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case. Information about the...

ABC News Reporter Jake Tapper's Political Punch Blog has a report on Sen. Barack Obama's push-back on John McCain's description of his tax policies, Tapper begins with a quote from Obama in Florida, here is the whole report: "The reason that we want to do this, change our tax code, is not because I have anything against the rich," Obama said in Sarasota, Fla., yesterday. "I love rich people! I want all of you to be rich. Go for it. That's the American dream, that's the American way, that's terrific.

The inauthentic man faces a difficult balancing act, for he is not only avoiding the truth, he has forgotten where he put the truth. Barack Obama has gifts, but also some significant flaws that should be considered as we head into the final days of this election. Calm or arrogant? He has mastered the appearance of calm, but in the final weeks of the campaign an edgy, even disdainful arrogance has crept into his tone. Consider the Nixonian response to Joe the plumber, unleashing the campaign, Democratic government and the media machine on a solitary citizen who asked a question...

Palin stirs up vitriolic hatred among liberals because she is a conservative Christian who practices her beliefs, especially regarding abortion. If the mainstream media and other liberals are going to continue vilifying Sarah Palin, then they should at least be honest about the reason for their attacks. Their issue with Palin is not her foreign policy experience. After all, Palin’s critics love Obama, who has about the same amount of foreign policy experience as Palin. Nor do any of them really care about her folksy manner, little winks and moose hunting. Palin stirs up vitriolic hatred among liberals because she...

"Since coming to Washington, I've believed that the right approach begins with the proposal put forward by Senator Lieberman and Senator McCain," Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said at Committee On Environment and Public Works hearing on January 30, 2007, "a proposal they've been pushing for years, and I thank them again for their leadership on this issue. The Lieberman-McCain Bill establishes limits for greenhouse gas emissions well into the 21st century. To remain below these limits, the bill encourages the market to determine how best to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, rewarding cost effective approaches using a system of tradable allowances."...

A look at all we expected to forget and all we expected to overlook this year. For 232 years character and integrity have played an integral role in presidential politics. For 232 years, Americans have elected Presidents not based upon the proposition that asks what your country can do for you, but rather the proposition that you "ask what you can do for your country". In this election we have been told over and over again that we should ignore and not ask any questions concerning ...

Arizona Senator John McCain has pulled within approximately 4 points against his Democratic rival Senator Barack Obama in the latest national poll put forth by a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby Poll on October 29, 2008. In short, the race is a statistical dead heat. However, what's very interesting to note about the polling data are numerous crucial points. First and foremost, McCain is slowly, but surely, chipping away at Obama's once commanding lead, as witnessed by recent polling data that started late last week. Thus, a trend is setting in on a national scale that is favoring the Arizona Senator. Moreover, the accuracy...
