There have been at least two separate shootings in Collin County. One shooting occurred at Collin County Community College on the Central Park Campus on Central Expressway. Students were made aware of the shooting just after 8 a.m. when the campus was placed on lockdown. The text alerts sent out by the college read, "CougarAlert: Shots fired @ Central Park Campus. A man drove a pickup truck loaded with ammunition into a suburban Dallas police station's parking lot on Tuesday, set the truck on fire and exchanged gunfire with police before he was found dead at the scene, officials said.
