The Dallas Morning News is paying a steep price for endorsing Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, in the form of canceled subscriptions and loud protests. The endorsement broke a 75-year streak in the paper’s history of endorsing Republicans, and generated a lot of reader pushback in the form of angry comments and vows to unsubscribe from the paper. Although Dallas is relatively liberal, the state hasn’t gone Democrat in a presidential election in 40 years. “Certainly we’ve paid a price for our presidential recommendation,” Dallas Morning News editor Mike Wilson said in an email to Poynter. Wilson acknowledged some of...

A little-known private foundation controlled by Bill and Hillary Clinton donated $100,000 to the New York Times’ charitable fund in 2008, the same year the newspaper’s editorial page endorsed Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary, according to tax documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The Clinton Family Foundation, a separate entity from the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, has been the family’s vehicle for personal charitable giving since 2001. It is funded directly by the Clintons and distributes more than $1 million a year to civic and educational causes. The New York Times Neediest Cases Fund is a...

Absolutely unbelievable. Three person attack team against Trump: Judith Miller, Greg Jarrett, Lynn Sweet. Judy Miller says objective reporters all agree that Matt Lauer was rude to Hillary and not rude to Trump. She says regarding complaints about unfair coverage, Hillary has a legitimate reason to complain, but Trump does not. Lynn Sweet states Trump has benefited from months of favorable coverage by the media. I had to laugh. She ripped Trump for not holding press conferences.... Then Gregg Jarrett chimed in to agree. He complained that Trump will attack you if you're not cheering for him.

Whenever liberals are confronted on the field of ideas you can guarantee to illicit an autonomic tone of snark, condescension and uppity indignation in their ideological retort. Why? Because at its core tenet, liberalism is dependent on blame-casting. As such, this does not come as a surprise: Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, was invited by the Clinton campaign to sit in the front row at Monday night’s debate.

The Washington Post's David Fahrenthold (D-Harvard) is currently yammering mightily about Donald Trump's charitable foundations. However, when Fahrenthold and his "watchdog media" buds at the Post reviewed the dirty dealings at the Clinton Foundation in June of last year, the "vigilant pack" was strangely silent. It appears as though David Fahrenthold is 2016's version of 1998's Jane Mayer of The New Yorker. When the Clinton crime machine needed a hitpiece on Linda Tripp in 1998, Jane Mayer stepped to the plate for the Clinton machine. Not many people knew that Mayer's husband, William Hamilton [in the DC political incest pool,...

Snopes.com was checking out a story the liberal media doesn’t want to touch: “Hanan al-Hroub, whose husband was jailed for providing chemicals used in making bombs that killed Israelis, was invited to speak at a Clinton Global Initiative dinner.” Ruling: True. So the liberal media thrills at any chance to associate Donald Trump with David Duke, but it can’t possibly find the newsworthiness in the Clinton Foundation honoring the wife of a terrorist bomb-maker. A Nexis search finds nothing in network or cable news, and nothing in the nation's most prestigious newspapers -- save one. Only The Wall Street Journal...

All just part of a "protest" right, media? We’ve already presented two examples which prove the so-called “peaceful protests” in Charlotte, N.C. are anything but. We saw a CNN reporter get attacked on the street, and we saw an innocent man get dragged into a parking structure - where he was beaten while begging for mercy. Stories like those are all over the internet, and they’re terrible, but I suppose they’re not quite as awful as having someone try to set you on fire while you’re unconscious. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened to a photographer who was tasked with covering...

A woman identifying herself as Taheshia Williams is claiming to be an eyewitness to the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CPMD) officers. Scott was shot and killed after reportedly brandishing a firearm and advancing upon officers three uniformed officers and a fourth officer, Officer Brentley Vinson, who was wearing a department issue ballistic vest with a displayed badge and emblazoned with the word “POLICE”

“Birtherism wasn’t the only conspiracy he pushed,” reads the subhead of a Huffington Post article this week by senior politics editor Sam Stein. The “he,” of course, refers to Donald Trump. The “conspiracy” Stein rediscovered was Trump’s claim in 2011 that retired terrorist Bill Ayers helped Barack Obama write his esteemed 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father.” “Bill Ayers was a super-genius,” Stein quotes Trump as saying on the “Hannity” show. “And a lot of people have said he wrote the book. Well recently, as you know last week, Bill Ayers came out and said he did write the book.”...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Did I not call this yesterday? Jimmy Fallon is now getting the Matt Lauer treatment. I spent a lot of time yesterday explaining to those of you... The people on the left who used to love Matt Lauer, they let Matt buy an expansion of his house over in the Hamptons. That meant that he was an accredited member of the establishment. He wanted to add onto his property out there, and they said, "Fine, do it," and he did. Now that's the last place he wants to go. His own buddies have turned on him because...

As violence escalated in Charlotte, N.C. Wednesday night, reporters became part of the story as protesters turned on the media. CNN anchor Don Lemon stopped the broadcast feed as a CNN camera crew was confronted by rioters who attempted to block the camera yelling “F**king liars!” “As happens in these particular situations, the crowd gets out of control and then they try to assault or at least intimidate our camera people and our news people,” Lemon said. Fox News reporter Steve Harrigan got into a verbal confrontation with a woman he was interviewing when she accused him of wanting video...

North Carolina – A Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer shot and killed an armed man named Keith Scott at an apartment complex Tuesday, while executing an arrest warrant. Angry street protests began almost immediately. CMPD Chief Kerr Putney reiterated Wednesday morning that Keith Scott was armed when he approached officers in University City Tuesday. Putney said that officers gave repeated verbal commands for Scott to drop his handgun. He said Scott posed a threat to the officers.

Forty minutes after the explosion in Chelsea Saturday night, Donald Trump told a crowd in Colorado that a bomb had gone off in New York and said, “We better get very tough, folks. We better get very, very tough.” For the next 48 hours, the media denounced Trump for jumping to conclusions about a “bomb” — and especially for the wild suggestion that government policy had had anything to do with it. (How about our policy of naturalizing 858 people from terrorist-producing countries who were still under orders of deportation? Is it deplorable to ask about that policy?)

Witnesses corroborate, and no book was found anywhere -- Police Chief: Officers Warned Scott to Drop Gun Not that there is ever a good reason to have a riot, but the Charlotte rioters might be interested to know they bought a line of crap from the media, which just sent 23 people to the hospital and unleashed hours of chaos in the streets for no reason whatsoever. White-cops-shoot-unarmed-black-man? Don’t think so. As the video below demonstrates, the media caused all this. More than 1,000 people heard on the news that a guy holding a book was shot by police, and...

With a new report from the British Parliament condemning their own country’s decision to help intervene in Libya, the mainstream media have started to rewrite history. The media’s revisionism seeks to repair the damaged foreign policy legacy of President Obama by making the decision to intervene in Libya the fault of foreign countries, particularly France and England. A CNN article written with this purpose in mind bears the headline, “Britain’s Libya intervention led to growth of ISIS, inquiry finds.” Angela Dewan writes, “Britain’s military intervention in Libya was based on ‘inaccurate intelligence’ and ‘erroneous assumptions,’ a report released Wednesday found,...
