"I just encountered" a fully loaded U.S.mail truck...windows wide open no driver in sight. After ascertaining there was no driver in the back of the vehicle, I waited ten mintes while calling the P,O,...to no avail. The driver as it turns out.. was in the local grocery store shopping. On his return to the vehicle,...I asked him about leaving the mail accessible and unattended. He shrugged it off. His nonchalance was a tad premature.. as is have photos of his unattended U,S,P,S, vehicle. Local law enforcement says they don't have jurisdiction.
