Rudy Giuliani, President Trump's personal attorney, said Friday on "Fox News @ Night" that he will not be traveling to Ukraine as previously announced. Giuliani, a former Republican mayor of New York City, said that he believed he would be "walking into a group of people that are enemies of the president, and in some cases, enemies of the United States and in one case, an already convicted person who has been found to be involved in assisting the Democrats with the 2016 investigation. "There was a great fear that the new [Ukrainian] president would be surrounded by, literally, enemies of...

House Democratic leaders scrambling to manage their oversight of the Trump administration are increasingly being squeezed by both wings of their diverse caucus. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is a biting critic of President Trump, but she’s rejected early calls for impeachment hearings, instead favoring aggressive investigations into potential abuses of administrative power. That methodical approach has plenty of support within the Democratic Caucus — not least from moderates in battleground districts wary of the political fallout of impeachment proceedings. But cracks are beginning to show at the edges. On the left, a number of progressive lawmakers are now sounding...

The Cuban government announced Friday that it is launching widespread rationing of chicken, eggs, rice, beans, soap and other basic products in the face of a grave economic crisis. Commerce Minister Betsy Díaz Velázquez told the state-run Cuban News Agency that various forms of rationing would be employed in order to deal with shortages of staple foods. She blamed the hardening of the U.S. trade embargo by the Trump administration. Economists give equal or greater blame to a plunge in aid from Venezuela, where the collapse of the state-run oil company has led to a nearly two-thirds cut in shipments...

The Italian sociologist and economist Vilfredo Pareto died in 1923. He saw men’s beliefs and actions as motivated by sentiment and self-interest. The ostensible motivations given for certain beliefs and actions, such as helping the underprivileged, are often cover for actions actually motivated by a desire to protect the privileges of the elites -- the power structure. For example, the Democrats claim to be motivated by a desire to help the underprivileged. But their actions are clearly motivated by a desire to protect their own power and privileges. Encouraging mass immigration of illegals who compete for lower-level jobs does not...

Every time I see the latest economic news, I thank Hillary Clinton. Every time I see those high GDP numbers (up 3.2 percent last quarter), I thank Hillary. Every time I see those record low unemployment numbers for blacks, Latinos and women, I thank Hillary. If she hadn't been such a horrible candidate in 2016, there's no telling what sorry state America would be in right now. So thank you, Hillary, for being such a loser. You did your country a greater service than you'll ever know. I don't really blame Hillary too much for refusing to accept her embarrassing...

As uncertainty over the outcome of Sino-American trade talks grows, so does the possibility of longer-than-expected negotiations or an all-out trade war. The Trump administration has laid the groundwork to unexpectedly increase duties on $200 billion in Chinese imports to 25% from 10% at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday. That escalation has prompted strategists at Goldman Sachs to offer some timely trading strategies, if trade negotiations, set to kick off on Thursday, break down. (not sure I agree with the suggestions, but might be worth discussing, anyway) Please see link for full article.

With Sen. Bernie Sanders introducing a new “Medicare for All” bill this month and several other Democratic presidential candidates co-sponsoring it, health care is once again a top campaign issue. The Democratic Party’s Socialist wing has hijacked the health care debate, and a closer examination of Medicare for All reveals its grim prognosis. This plan is co-sponsored by four other senators running for president: Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Cory Booker. It represents a radical change in how Americans pay for and receive health care. Medicare for All ends private health care insurance, granting the federal government total control....

Just when everyone thought that the United States Postal Service’s (USPS) finances couldn’t get any worse….they did. On May 10, the USPS announced second quarter FY 2019 losses of $2.1 billion, bringing total postal net losses to more than $70 billion since 2007. But be prepared to suspend disbelief even further, it may soon get far worse. On May 8, President Trump announced General Motors’ intention to sell its Lordstown Assembly plant to the Cincinnati-area Workhorse Group (a company that reported revenues of just $763,173 in 2018 and a net loss of $36.5 million) to build electric trucks.  The deal is contingent...

President Trump is taking heat for comments he made at a Wisconsin rally where he described what happens to a child after she is born alive following a failed abortion, saying, “The baby is born. The mother meets with the doctor, they take care of the baby, they wrap the baby beautifully, and then the doctor and the mother determine whether or not they will execute the baby. I don't think so. It's incredible.â€Â The mainstream media are “fact-checking†Trump’s statement as if it is incorrect. But the abortion industry and the media have tiptoed around the basic question. So, I simply...

MARION COUNTY, Oregon, May 10, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Two parents in Oregon have filed a million-dollar lawsuit against Woodburn School District over a second-grade teacher they say took it upon himself to give their eight-year-old son one-on-one gender lessons after erroneously assuming the boy was transgendered. The Nellie Muir Elementary School student had special permission to use a staff restroom due to a digestive condition, but a female teacher allegedly noticed him entering the restroom and assumed it was due to gender discomfort, the Salem Statesman Journal reported. The lawsuit alleges that the teacher pulled the boy out of recess...

It is one of modern history’s more famous quotes: “If a man is not a socialist at 20, he has no heart. If he remains one at age 40, he has no head.” These words (and variations thereof) have been attributed to everyone from Disraeli to Clemenceau to Churchill. Whatever the true source, they convey a wisdom that frequently is going unheeded in America. And we risk becoming an ever more controlled and corrupt society. Consider recent survey data. This January, the public relations firm Axios released the results of a SurveyMonkey online poll of nearly 2,800 U.S. adults. Respondents were asked...

The private jet ownership is despite his efforts to campaign against climate change in his songs. With song lyrics that include: "[They’re] talkin’ bout how the weather’s changing / the ice is melting / like the world is ending," you would think he would try to live a low carbon lifestyle, but alas. Drake has gotten himself a gigantic plane. – Via Daily Caller – The superstar rapper showed off his plane, called “Air Drake,” on Instagram Friday, and it’s downright absurd. The interior is absolutely massive, and he points out that it’s not a “timeshare” or “rental.” It’s just...

The Acting Secretary of Defense has approved the movement of USS Arlington (LPD-24) and a Patriot battery to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) as part of the command’s original request for forces from earlier this week. These assets will join the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a U.S. Air Force bomber task force in the Middle East region in response to indications of heightened Iranian readiness to conduct offensive operations against U.S. forces and our interests. The Department of Defense continues to closely monitor the activities of the Iranian regime, their military and proxies. Due to operational security, we...

This will be a weekly post. Count is now 104 judges confirmed. 63 District Court judges 39 Circuit Court judges 2 Supreme Court justices The two judges confirmed were for the 2nd circuit, the New York circuit!! There will be two more vacancies after June as two judges take senior status. If Trump fills these seats the 2nd circuit will flip to majority Republican appointees! Have you noticed better rulings from the 9th circuit lately? This is due to Trump appointees. And there are currently three more nominees pending in the Senate (two on the floor, one in committee). And...

“One of my idols!…I can’t tell you how enormously inspiring you (lifelong Stalinist Angela Davis) have been to me throughout my life…We collectively must make sure that we are dismantling all systems of oppression…we’re the party of love, the party of compassion.†(Ilhan Omar expressing her lifelong adoration for Angela Davis, lifelong devotee of a system that conquered, enslaved, tortured and murdered many more human beings than Hitler’s Nazis.)“It is about time that we stepped up to defend those who represent our political vision (i.e. Ilhan Omar) on the front lines of struggle. I feel particularly motivated to join this amazing group.â€...

For more than two years, the Democrats have used every dirty trick possible to take down President Trump — but their desperate all-out obstruction campaign has only managed to strengthen his support.Based on these results, perhaps the Democrats should continue to just be themselves.According to a new Gallup poll, President Trump’s approval rating just hit an all-time high of 46 percent, even higher than President Obama’s approval at the same point in his presidency. While the success of Trump’s America First policy agenda has undoubtedly played a major role in strengthening his support, the juvenile antics of congressional Democrats have...

Over the past week, two events occurred involving my kids that made me realize that America is failing our children. We are raising what might be the most closedminded and indoctrinated generation ever to grow up in this country. If we cannot course-correct and start teaching our kids to be open-minded, get informed and always be civil to those they oppose, then the current civic war rifling through our politics and social media lives will only grow worse as this generation comes to power. Let me explain. The first event occurred in California when my daughter and I were touring...

When it comes to the issue of guns, well, much like his not so ambiguous pro-segregation stance, Joe Biden's stuck in the past." –Colion Noir In 1994, "Boom Boom Joe" shepherded through the Senate a ban on AR-15s, America's most popular rifle. It was something he worked on for six years. And he stuck it in under the cover of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, which he took to the Senate floor to call black youth: Joe Biden: "Predators on our streets. They are beyond the pale, many of those people. Beyond the pale." In his effort...

“This year’s summer will be warmer than usual for most of Europe,” read the headlines in major mainstream media. Yet, the summer has started off with a “Polar Plunge.” This past weekend, thousands in Europe were forced to stay indoors because of below average weather conditions in what was supposed to be a pleasant early summer weekend. Though this is a weather phenomenon caused by Arctic winds, it makes us question the claims of global warming alarmists who had predicted—and continue to predict—contrasting weather conditions. Is freezing the new warming? I still remember how I spent my “bank holiday weekend”...
