Hollywood celebrities and business leaders have carbon footprints up to 300 times bigger than the rest of us, a study reveals, highlighting the hypocrisy of those who promote climate change activism while refusing to set foot on a commercial flight. Rich and famous “super-emitters” are such constant travelers they could also be encouraging others to follow in their slipstream by boasting of their private jet-setting habits on social media, researchers found.

Lloyd's Taco Truck is issuing an apology for serving meals at the Batavia Federal Detention Center. In a statement, Lloyd's says it received a request a few weeks back to serve there. However, it says it made an honest mistake going there, saying "Lloyd's has deep ties to the immigrant and refugee communities in Buffalo." Lloyd's says there was no excuse in serving there and has begun updating internal procedures to prevent a repeat. The Batavia facility holds detainees in custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. That decision led to a backlash on social media, with one tweeter posting, "Gotta...

The man had to receive multiple stitches for his injuries. Police confirmed the assault was captured by a news outlet and posted online. Police used the footage and other available...

Colorado School Suspends 17-Year-Old After She Posted a Non-Threatening Gun Photo With Her Older Brother She didn't break the law or threaten anybody, but her school still panicked. A tongue-in-cheek post from a Colorado teen about a trip to a shooting range got her suspended from high school. On Oct. 11, Endeavor Academy, a public school in Centennial, Colo., suspended 17-year-old senior Alexandria Keyes for five days after she posted a picture of herself and her older brother on the social media app Snapchat. The two are shown holding guns and the photo is captioned, "Me and my legal guardian...

If Hillary Clinton didn’t already exist, we’d have to invent her. Honestly. Millions and millions of people out there looked at her and said, “This woman should be president!” And three years after she lost to Donald Effing Trump, they’re looking at her and saying, “This woman should be president!” Here’s the rightful president of the United States with her take on how she lost to that zany conspiracy theorist Donald Trump:

October 24, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Internet records show that someone within Vatican city edited the Wikipedia page of prominent Amazon Synod critic Dr. Taylor Marshall in what appears to be an attempt to undermine his reputation. “Someone inside Vatican City is trying to attack my reputation via Wikipedia,” tweeted Dr. Marshall last night, linking to the material that was edited. Marshall has a Ph.D. in Philosophy which he obtained in 2011 from the University of Dallas. He wrote his dissertation on St. Thomas Aquinas, which was titled "Thomas Aquinas on Natural Law and the Twofold Beatitude of Humanity."

When people in a community find out that their local public library is hosting a “Drag Queen Story Hour” – bizarre men in garish women’s clothes reading LGBT-themed books to young children ages 3-8 – their first reaction is usually shock and disgust. They wonder, “How is this happening?”

Former Vice President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that his campaign was launching a new Latino Outreach initiative called “Todos con Biden.” But the campaign made a public relations error when it failed to secure the domain name, www.todosconbiden.com, or the Twitter handle, @TodosConBiden, for the initiative, paving the way for President Donald Trump’s campaign to troll the former vice president. There is little that Jeffrey Younger and Anne Georgulas agree on about one of their twins. To start: Is the 7-year-old transgender? It’s a question that has divided the Coppell, Tex., parents — on how Luna, who was named James at birth, should be dressed to school and wear their hair. On whether the child should receive gender-affirming care, which could eventually lead to medical treatment to delay puberty. On which parent should get to live with the twins, and who should have a say in decisions over their health.

The Republican Party risks exile for longer than it has endured in the modern era if, in the absence of incontrovertible evidence of actual “high crimes and misdemeanors,” it deserts President Trump during the campaign to remove him from office. Democrats are pursuing impeachment because they obviously fear that they cannot defeat him at the ballot box in 2020. The advantage of talking with radio listeners — and not merely lecturing readers or tweeting at followers or opponents — is that you hear from people who aren’t among the Manhattan-D.C. media elites who overwhelmingly hate Trump. First, no quid pro...

Hundreds of lawmakers from both parties came together Thursday in the Capitol to honor the late Rep. Elijah Cummings, the son of sharecroppers who rose to become a giant of the Democratic Party and a principal figure in the impeachment investigation of President Trump. One by one, congressional leaders and Cummings’ closest allies paid tribute to the Maryland Democrat, 68, who passed away last week after a lengthy illness and lay in state Thursday in Statuary Hall, the old House chamber in the Capitol. It was a rare display of comity for a Congress that’s been entrenched for weeks in...

Mayor Bill de Blasio doesn’t “understand how on earth” a German porn star got deep inside sensitive areas of NYPD headquarters, he said Thursday, as an NYPD boss vowed to find answers. “I’ve only heard the beginning of this, and I don’t like what I hear,” fumed Hizzoner of Annina Ucatis’ private tour of the Lower Manhattan cop shop — first reported by The Post — where she was free to film inside the clandestine Real Time Crime Center, and even outside Commissioner James O’Neill’s office. “I don’t understand how on earth this could have happened,” continued de Blasio of...

Criticisms of Rep. Adam Schiff’s impeachment tactics have begun to bite. Fair-minded people have begun to ask why is it necessary to have secret witnesses, secret hearings, and leaks of distorted, out-of-context excerpts from transcripts, Why is it necessary to block the president from sending representatives to attend these hearings so he can have equal access to any evidence? Why was it necessary for House Intelligence Committee Chairman Schiff to “parody” the transcript of the president’s call to the Ukrainian president? Aren’t parodies supposed to be funny? Shouldn’t the chairman be proceeding with sober deliberation and fairness instead of romping...

Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Ohio, ended his long-shot presidential campaign after months of struggling to find a footing in the crowded Democratic field. Ryan announced his decision to end his campaign in a video to supporters, stating he would run again for his House seat. He isn’t throwing his support behind anyone in the 2020 field at this time, his campaign told NBC. "I got into this race in April to really give voice to the forgotten people of our country: the workers who have been left behind, the businesses who have been left behind, the people who need health care...

Talk about putting the “men” in menstruation! On Tuesday it was announced that feminine hygiene product brand Always would be removing the Venus female symbol from its packaging. CBS News reported, “The announcement follows pleas from LGBTQ activists to make the labeling more inclusive of transgender and non-binary customers.” Because apparently having feminine products coded as feminine is offensive and exclusionary. According to CBS News, “LGBTQ activists and allies have been publicly asking P&G [Procter & Gamble] to redesign the packaging to be more gender-neutral. They argued that using the female symbol is exclusive because not all women menstruate, and...

Goldman Sachs downgraded Twitter on the back of the social media companyÂ’s dismal earnings performance on Thursday. The firm downgraded the stock to neutral from buy and slashed its price target to $34 from $52. Goldman also lowered its 2019, 2020 and 2021 earnings estimates to “reflect the companyÂ’s advertising issues.” “Although we continue to see signiï¬cant and growing value in the platform evidenced by broad-based, accelerating DAU growth, the lack of visibility into the remediation of the advertising platform, uncertainty around TwitterÂ’s ability to drive broader advertiser demand, and the risk of further multiple compression drive us to lower...
