Ted Cruz will grab an upset win over Donald Trump in Arizona's presidential primary election on Tuesday, as he's the "only candidate with any kind of organization out here," a close confidant of Sen. John McCain predicts. "They have him positioned to spring the upset," Kurt Davis, a GOP operative in Arizona, told The Hill. "They just have to deliver." According to Real Clear Politics, Trump is ahead of Cruz by 13 points in the state's polls, but in Arizona, Republicans on the ground say the race's margin is narrower, and Cruz could pull off the upset.

SALT LAKE CITY — If Donald Trump becomes the Republican Party's nominee, Utahns would vote for a Democrat for president in November for the first time in more than 50 years, according to a new Deseret News/KSL poll. ... While Clinton was only slightly ahead of Trump — 38 percent to 36 percent — Sanders, a self-declared Democratic socialist, holds a substantial lead — 48 percent to 37 percent over the billionaire businessman and reality TV star among likely Utah voters. There is a great debate among the supporters and critics of 2017 military budget. Supporters say that Obama should have to cut down the military budget because it is better for country and nation is not liable to waste it valuable resources for imaginable enemy. Similarly, according to critics, US should have to make increments in its military budget when the danger of ISIS and Russian war aggression is growing upon the head of Americans. On the other hand, militant groups could also threaten the internal security of US bases including Randolph Air Force Base, Christi Naval Station and other...

According to the latest primary results compiled at Green-Papers, it is certain that it will be impossible for Ted to reach the 1237 delegate count or comply with Rule 40 for the nomination. See the link, analyze the stats. and tell me, Why is Ted still in this race?

As I mentioned, Paul voted against the TPA. Rubio and Graham voted for it, despite not reading the TPP first, and have not said anything since. And to the shock and dismay of his supporters, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has joined Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) (who just echoed Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)‘s “pass it to find out what is in it” comments) as a top cheerleader for the TPA. Together, they wrote an op-ed in favor of it. Check Cruz’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts and you will find that he has been in media-blitz mode to get it passed....

Long, but good. Ted Cruz is a globalist. Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2016/03/cruz-facing-trade-deal-headwinds-in-ohio/#qzgsyv6EREbYCRKE.99

The Trump campaign was initially very interested, according to Fox officials, and the Sanders campaign was on board. But before the debate could be announced, the Trump campaign pulled out, citing scheduling conflicts, so the network planned to welcome just Mr. Sanders in an hourlong town-hall-style event, hosted by Bret Baier as part of his “Special Report” program. Late on Friday, the network received a surprise call. Mrs. Clinton would participate, ending her two-year absence from the network that her liberal base loves to criticize.
  • (Vanity) - Mark Levin, Isn't It Time To Get Behind The Candidate Who Can Beat The Establishment?

For the past 4 years, we've heard Mark Levin tell his radio audience that this time around, conservatives need to rally behind one conservative who can actually beat the establishment. As near as I can tell, Levin seems to have gone silent on that point in recent months. As we watch the GOPe ramp up their attacks on Trump, borrowing from the Mississippi playbook of dirty tricks, wouldn't now be the time to rally around the only candidate who can take out the GOPe - Trump? Any thoughts?

It’s morning again in America. On the wintry banks of the Potomac, throngs of conservative millennials shake off their hangovers and embark upon day four of CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) — but today’s is a hollow pilgrimage. After Thursday night’s ambuscade during which Donald Trump was jumped by the Fox News triad of Megyn Kelly, Brett Baier and Chris Wallace to the delight of the cackling mob, he made the decision to blow off today’s 8:30 a.m. appearance and fly to Kansas to campaign instead. Sorry GOP establishment. You don’t have Trump to kick around anymore.

Republicans’ latest, and possibly last, strategy to take down Donald Trump is about to be tested. Saturday’s set of GOP nominating contests lacks the hype accorded to Super Tuesday or the winner-take-all primaries on March 15. What it does have, however, is fully 155 delegates at stake — more than were doled out over the entire month of February. That makes Saturday, and days like it, critical to establishment Republicans’ plan to force Trump into a long, delegate-by-delegate slog that would deny him an outright majority. After days of open warfare against Trump by prominent party elders, as well as...

I was thinking about the republican primary and asking myself, "if conservatism is the answer and Ted Cruz is an exemplar of conservatism, why is he not doing much better at the ballot box so far?" Or, why is Donald Trump doing so much better? In my opinion, Trump is doing better because he is proposing solutions to our country's problems that are derived from common sense thinking. For example, there are thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border with Mexico on a monthly basis. Trump's solution? Build a wall. This is not a new idea so Trump adds that...

I've been reading FR for years now but haven't ever commented. I genuinely enjoy the commentary. Sometimes it's intelligent. Sometimes it's terrible. But it's always entertaining. But I have a few questions: Why does it take so much money to keep FR going? I have numerous sites that cost a couple hundred dollars a year to keep going. Why is there censorship? Posts and comments at deleted. If they are bad or objectionable, why delete them? Why can't you self police this?

Philip Hammond must be in the running for the stupid award and taking it very seriously indeed. Literally everything that comes out of his mouth has us stunned at how could anyone be as ignorant, petulant and ill-informed. His latest: "What we have seen over the last weeks is very disturbing evidence of coordination between Syrian Kurdish forces, the Syrian regime and the Russian air force which are making us distinctly uneasy about the Kurds' role in all of this." Oh really? What evidence would that be? The fact that Russians have been acting as the Kurds' air force, which...

Scalia ranked Kelo among the top cases in which the court made a mistake of political judgment, according to the Sun-Times account. The others were the Dred Scott v. Sanford decision in favor of a slave owner and the Roe v. Wade decision finding a constitutional right to abortion. “My court has, by my lights, made many mistakes of law during its distinguished two centuries of existence,” Scalia said. “But it has made very few mistakes of political judgment, of estimating how far … it could stretch beyond the text of the Constitution without provoking overwhelming public criticism and resistance....

Ben Carson said late Saturday that Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas approached him during an off-camera break at ABC’s Republican debate to apologize for his campaign’s conduct during the Iowa caucuses and requested a one-on-one meeting with him. “He said he’s sorry that this happened and he wants to sit down and talk,” Carson said in an interview with The Washington Post. “He wants to discuss the whole thing and clear the air.” In the interview, Carson said pointedly that if the meeting with Cruz is scheduled, that does not mean the the senator will be absolved. “The evidence is...

It's a serious question. What's he going to do when Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell tell him to go to hell? Is he going to tell them they are liars on television and then call into Mark Levin's show and whine? Being President doesn't work like that. Is he going to be like President Obama and try to use executive orders to ram his legislation through? Compare that to Trump's approach from Art of the Deal where he asks for 3x more than what he wants, completely disorients his competitors and shakes the ground beneath everyone, and then gets what...
