In Eastern Ukraine, there’s supposed to be a cease-fire, but the fighting starts again every night. For two years, soldiers for the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic -- with the backing of Russia -- have fought the Ukrainian government to gain autonomy. Special correspondent Nick Schifrin reports from the front lines, in partnership with the Pulitzer Center for Crisis Reporting.

Why the Trump Justice Department hasn’t put Judicial Watch on the payroll yet with orders to “just go keep doing what you’re doing,” we don’t know. Maybe it’s a paperwork thing. Then again, if Judicial Watch fell under control of those who ‘manage’ the deep state, the government watchdog would never have been able to uncover all crimes that Obama and his band of criminals have done to our institutions.

With many analysts predicting that the upcoming United Nations Climate Summit in Paris will fail to produce an ambitious, binding global agreement, President Obama is hoping to come to the rescue. He does not want a repeat of the 2009 UN confab in Copenhagen, where he was roundly dissed by his green supporters for "failing to seal the deal." The president has loads of friends on Wall Street. As the grand sugar daddy handing out corporate welfare, Obama has taken the White House pay-to-play game to new stratospheric levels, as even many of his media allies and erstwhile supporters...

It was a while ago that our Attorney General, the one and only Eric Holder, claimed that our country was a bunch of “cowards” for not wanting to discuss issues of race. I am willing to discuss them. And contrary to the opinion of race baiters and progressive, grievance mongers, I won’t bow to the narrative they have developed over the past seven years. Most Americans believe race relations in this country are bad and deteriorating. In my lifetime I have not had any difficulty with someone of another race. Perhaps that is because I was in the military for...

The Obama administration released its spring regulatory agenda Friday, including its costliest regulation to date, just as Americans are getting ready to celebrate the long Memorial Day weekend. The Spring 2015 Unified Agenda and Regulatory Plan includes more than 2,300 regulations that are in a variety of phases and also includes the administration's plans for implementing the various regulations going forward, The Daily Caller is reporting. This is not the first time the Obama administration has released its regulatory agenda right before a major holiday, when such things might go unnoticed. In 2014, the fall regulatory agenda was released right...

It's time to mobilize Congress against Obama’s plan to relinquish our authority over the Internet. When the new Congress shows up on Tuesday, it’s going to have lots to worry about, but there’s one serious problem at risk of being overlooked. And that really can’t be allowed to happen; it’s much too important: In 2015, the Obama administration plans to hand over control of ICANN — the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers — to international governance. ICANN oversees the superstructure of the Internet, and the American Department of Commerce oversees ICANN. The plan for handing our authority to the...

The Obama administration is scrambling to track down an Al Qaeda terrorist released from Guantanamo Bay years ago, offering a $5 million reward for information on him and placing him on a global terrorist list. Ibrahim al-Rubaysh was originally released in 2006 by the George W. Bush administration and put into a Saudi Arabian "rehabilitation" program. However, al-Rubaysh returned to the battlefield and now serves as a top leader with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula -- one of the most dangerous Al Qaeda affiliates. The case underscores the continued risks in transferring detainees from the controversial prison camp --...

You remember near the end of the Monty Python flick, The Meaning of Life-- that scene featuring Mr. Creasote? He’s the morbidly obese freak who gorges on food, until finally, after eating a mint offered by the waiter, completely explodes, sending his guts in all directions. I was a senior in high school when I saw it, and I remember it clearly. I skipped dinner that night. And I remember the scene now, as I’ve watched this IRS scandal unfold. I keep thinking about that mint, and that this scandal is that mint.

That’s the revelation made by California Congressman Devin Nunes, who sits on the House Ways And Means Committee on Hugh Hewitt’s Show Wednesday night. Here’s the key part of that transcript: HH: The idea that this might be a Geithner-Axelrod plan, and by that, the sort of intimation, Henry II style, will no one rid me of this turbulent priest, will no one rid me of these turbulent Tea Parties, that might have just been a hint, a shift of an eyebrow, a change in the tone of voice. That’s going to take a long time to get to. I...

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, along with the rest of the regime players, murdered Ambassador Chris Stevens. It was a hit. It wasn't incompetence. It wasn't deer-in-the-headlights collective inaction. It wasn't a kidnapping plot gone wrong. It was a hit. The whole incompetence argument is simply the domain of moral and intellectual cowards who insist upon seeing the world through rose colored glasses and deny objective reality. My contempt for these people knows no bounds. It's one thing to be stupid. It is quite another to be a coward. Cowardice is a pure moral choice. This is why courage is...

CNSNews.com) - Actor and environmental activist Ed Begley Jr. said President Barack Obama needs to do more to combat climate change, adding he needs to "die with his boots on in some of these things." “I think he needs to do more. I think he should die with his boots on in some of these things and just go down swinging on some of these important things, like Keystone I don’t think should be approved. I think there’s other ways we can get energy,” Begley told the Huffington Post last week when asked whether the president has done enough to...

The basic condition for Sharia is an islamic state, or . This condition is mostly absent in the West, and is even lacking throughout the wider Muslim world, except in places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, provinces of Afghanistan and Pakistan. A Caliphate has not ruled in the Muslim world since at least the demise of the Ottoman Caliphate in 1924. The project of the Muslim Brotherhood is to reinstate a Caliphate. Al-Qaradawi is the undisputed leader of the Global Muslim Brotherhood, the movement's uber-authority. Based in Qatar, his ultimate, avowed goal is to have the islamic law (Sharia) enforced...

Many have called the 2012 election the most important in their lifetime. But in citing the economy, unemployment, foreign affairs, gas prices, healthcare and the burgeoning corruption of the American judiciary, political pundits may have universally ignored the real threat to the American public and the reason it was imperative to remove the Obama Regime from power. It happened back in March. Republican representative Tom Graves of Georgia asked FBI Director Robert Mueller whether the Administration’s “…policy of extra-judicial killings of American citizens abroad could also apply in the United States.” Incredibly, Mueller responded “I have to go back. Uh,...

"But, in the world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes."Ben Franklin If Ben Franklin were around today, he would likely amend the above statement to include the certainty of government regulation.  A new report by the Heritage Foundation says that in today's America, regulation costs are a far greater burden than taxes.  If the current trend of rapidly increasing regulatory burden by the Obama Administration continues, it will hasten the death of the once great American free-market economy. According to a newly released Heritage Foundation analysis, the annual cost of federal regulations ($1.752 trillion) is...

Bill Daley tells ABC News that he resigned last week as chief of staff, as first reported by the Los Angeles Times. Senior administration officials confirm that Jacob “Jack” Lew, the current director of the Office of Management and Budget, will be the new chief of staff. Daley was brought in to replace Rahm Emanuel, but in November his role was “changed,” with more power given to senior adviser Pete Rouse. At the time White House officials insisted the move was in no way a demotion, but it certainly wasn’t a vote of confidence. [...]

Bloomberg News’ Christopher Palmeri recently wrote of the legacy of Proposition 13 still hovering over California. It has far too often been said that “As goes California, so goes the nation.” 33 year old Proposition 13 has become a broad generic term for tax revolt. Palmeri reports that at least 20 states have followed the 13 lemming. Tax reform was needed, but it has become apparent that 13 was not the right formula. However, there was far more to that 1978 election than Proposition 13 – its evil stepsister was Proposition 10 promoted by the banking industry. I wised up...
