Here we are on the outset of 2004, and the hope that President Bush would wrap up his first term with a conservative agenda is rapidly fading. I consider myself part of the base of the Republican party. I think everyone should own a gun. I think abortion should be outlawed, but I understand that at this point in time it will be difficult to accomplish. The bill to issue driver licenses to undocumented immigrants on Thursday went to the plenary of the California state legislature and its sponsor, Sen.
