Dear Paul Harvey, It’s our turn to wish you a Good Day. We’ve missed you on the radio and have heard that you’re on sick call, and we wanted you to know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers. And you’re in our lives. You’ve been on the air longer than most of us have been alive, and many of us can specifically remember listening to you for most of our lives. When we were little kids, you were on mom and dad’s radio, and now our little kids hear you on mom and dad’s radio. You’re a tradition we...

I don't know about the rest of the nation, but here in Central time we could get Paul Harvey's News and Comment in the morning and again at noon, most likely on some crackly AM country music station. If I were out of town or on the road, I would surf the AM dial hoping to find a hint of that unmistakable voice: The Voice. Like a true news junkie, I needed my Paul Harvey fix. Paul Harvey, born Paul Harvey Aurandt in Tulsa on Sept. 4, 1918, had a voice like a cannon at Gettysburg, like Teddy Roosevelt charging...

If you live in Illinois, Oklahoma, maybe even the rest of the country flags should be at half staff. September 4th should be considered Paul Harvey Day.

One of the great voices of authentic heartland America fell silent today. Paul Harvey was doing nationwide conservative talk radio for decades before anyone thought of it as conservative talk radio. Everybody recognizes his distinctive, quirky voice with the…….odd pauses and offbeat emphases, but his success was about far more than his distinctive diction. Paul Harvey put news out there that no other outlet touched. His Paul Harvey News and Comment scoured the wires for random stuff–and ideologically inconvenient stuff– you just didn’t hear on the Big Three mainstream TV news, and crammed it all in to crisp five minute...

This morning, Paul Harvey had the most revolting puff piece to support the actions of John Murtha. PH went on and on about how great of a was hero Murtha was, then went on to implicitly congratulate his recent efforts to shut down the WOT. Paul Harvey: retire already!!!

Paul Harvey is gone. Harvey was a giant in the industry of radio broadcasting but he was a singularly different sort of news reporter. In a day when the goal of every other broadcaster seems to be to dive straight to the lowest common denominator, to celebrate to low born and venal, Harvey’s was always to uplift the listener and to celebrate the greatness of America. With his easily parodied style, his was a distinctive voice. He was from a time when the sound was important, the delivery the thing. And deliver he did. His well used pause and distinctive...

Paul Harvey Aurandt--known to his legions of devoted "News and Comment" and "The Rest of the Story" listeners on more than 600 U.S. radio stations as simply Paul Harvey--had his first "good day" on Sept. 4, 1918, two years before this nation's first licensed commercial radio station hit the air. The newly minted nonagenarian has been delivering his own unique take on news in his own unique style based out of Chicago for 57 years now. Although his workload has beed reduced of late because of health issues and the death earlier this year of longtime wife/partner Lynne "Angel" Harvey,...

"I can't take it anymore. If one more person sends me that e-mail about Hillary and the Black Panthers, I'll have to be dragged away screaming in a straitjacket." --------------------------------- "The story is no hoax, though. Its basic elements can be found in respected Hillary biographies and exposes such as Barbara Olson's "Hell to Pay," David Brock's "The Seduction of Hillary Rodham," Joyce Milton's "The First Partner" and Carl Limbacher's "Hillary's Scheme."" ---------------------------------- "At Yale, Hillary helped edit the Yale Review of Law and Social Action – a left-wing journal which promoted cop-killing and featured cartoons of pig-faced police."

I have been touting Fred Thompson since January 2007, and it has been several months since I have written an article about him. Among other things, I have noted that Thompson antagonizes no one and would unite the Republican Party – no one really had anything bad to say about him in the New Hampshire debates, and the closest anyone came was John McCain, a close friend of Thompson. I have noted that Fred got the gay marriage issue precisely right – a constitutional amendment which does not require states to give full faith and credit to gay marriages is...

The decision comes amid a bevy of media stories scrutinizing his past, including three bankruptcies, a short stint in jail and 1996 Federal Trade Commission charges of false advertising in a prior business. Employees of the identity theft-prevention firm were notified Monday of Maynard's resignation. LifeLock officials said Maynard wanted to spend more time with his family and the constant barrage of media inquiries "had become a major addition to his already heavy work load, as well as a distraction for the company."

A radical Hispanic group is promoting a boycott of the Walt Disney Company because, contends the Mexica Movement, the entertainment giant "has made a habit of hiring talk show hosts who spread the Minutemen white supremacist racist agenda." The boycott announcement specifically cites radio legend and Presidential Medal of Freedom winner Paul Harvey, as well as popular talker Doug McIntyre. Both Harvey and McIntyre are nationally syndicated by ABC, which is owned by Disney. McIntyre was instrumental in exposing a taxpayer-funded Los Angeles school backed by radical groups that lay claim to the Southwestern U.S. As WND reported, the principal...
