A peace rally ended in violence Wednesday afternoon at a Los Angeles high school. A fight occurred at Thomas Jefferson High School during a community-sponsored effort to create a human chain as a show of unity. Police broke up the confrontation involving students. Authorities said four students were taken into custody. One student was arrested on charges of resisting arrest. Police said the fight stemmed from a dispute involving a stolen cell phone. <p>San Francisco (AP) - A newspaper survey of aerial photography says there were far fewer people than first reported at a peace rally Sunday in San Francisco. Police and event organizers estimated the crowd at 200,000.</p> <p>But the San Francisco Chronicle's review of photos of the rally taken from the air indicates that only about 65,000 people were on hand to protest at the rally's peak.</p>

According to a report that was just aired on our local FM Conservative Talk Radio station, WTTK in Boston, a Peace/Anti-War rally was planned for Government Center in Boston for today. There has been much publicity surrounding the organization and planning of this rally in the past few weeks.
