CARACAS—The Venezuelan government Friday released the first images of ailing President Hugo Chávez since his departure more than two months ago to Cuba to resume his battle with cancer. After a mini-controversy about a claim from President Obama that he shoots clay pigeons at Camp David, the White House released a photo of “Obama” shooting a $2500 Browning Citori shotgun. Problem: It doesn’t look like the President’s watch. And that leaves aside why the President is shooting a fancy Japanese-made gun instead of a down-to-earth Mossberg or Remington.

The White House has refused repeated attempts by journalists to produce pictures of President Obama and his team in the White House Situation Room during the 9-11 Benghazi terrorist attacks [3:30pm to 11:00pm Eastern Time]. Personally, after researching the offical reports minute by minute, and comparing them to the media released statements, I believe the Situation Room was empty. DETROIT (WWJ/AP) – A Detroit judge has agreed to a reprimand for sending a shirtless photo of himself to a courthouse employee and telling a reporter, “No shame in my game.” Wayne County Circuit Judge Wade McCree agreed to the punishment in an order released Wednesday by the Michigan Supreme Court. The court says it’s accepting the recommendation of a watchdog agency and ordering a public censure. The justices agreed with the Judicial Tenure Commission that McCree “brought shame … to the judiciary” with his April comments to WJBK-TV reporter Charlie LeDuff.
