A famous bounty hunter is joining the search for elusive fugitive Shawn Christy. Former reality TV star Duane Chapman, known as 'Dog the Bounty Hunter,' told the Mansfield News Journal that he's been hired by a friend of the family. The search is now focused in Ohio, where police found a truck they think Christy stole on the side of a highway on Sunday.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 25% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18 (see trends). Following passage of health care, enthusiasm for the president among Democrats soared. Today, however, just 49% of Democrats Strongly Approve of Obama’s performance. That’s down from a high of 65%. It remains to be seen whether this is a temporary aberration or the beginning of a lasting change.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- A woman who stabbed and wounded four people in a busy Target store Monday afternoon was arrested when an off-duty sheriff's deputy pulled his gun and ordered the woman to the ground as screaming shoppers ran from the building, authorities said. The world's shortest man, He Pingping, has died at the age of 21, a Guinness World Records spokesman said. Pingping, who was 29 inches tall, was filming a television programme in Italy when he developed chest problems. The Chinese-born man, who became a record-holder in March 2008, was taken to hospital in Rome for treatment but passed away on Saturday. It is understood he died of heart complications. Two police officers were injured by a gunman firing shots outside the Pentagon tonight. Hundreds of employees there were ordered to go into "Code Red" -- the entire building locked down, with no one allowed to enter or leave. . BOSTON (AP) — A judge rejected a Harvard student’s request Wednesday for extra break time during her nine-hour medical licensing exam so she could pump breast milk for her infant daughter.
