Since we KNOW that many serious crimes have been committed and we KNOW that the Justice Department has been part of them, why hasn’t an independent prosecutor been appointed? Is there any intention of prosecuting the people who are involved or is this just a public hearing for the purpose of embarrass the administration? We know that Obama is at the top of this pile of crap, but do they think they can follow this up to Obama and expose him?

After 19 days of damning evidence in which the prosecution painted Casey Anthony as a calculated murderer, it is now the turn of the defence - who immediately had their request to get the case thrown out of court refused. And as they offered up a list of amended witnesses they will call - including one surprise witness that will likely back up their theory that George Anthony persuaded his daughter to dispose of Caylee Anthony's body - the question remains as to whether Casey herself will be called as a witness. Prosecutors have spent the last three weeks proving...

Attorney General Reopened Investigation Two Years Ago In the wake of the killing of Osama bin Laden, with Barack Obama fresh off his “I killed bin Laden” victory tour, Attorney General Eric Holder’s criminal investigation into the interrogation techniques utilized by CIA officers against captured terrorists is front page news again. Holder reopened the previously reviewed case after assuring Republicans that he would not do so. In January of 2009, Republican opposition to Holder’s appointment as Attorney General subsided following his “private assurances” that he did not intend to pursue CIA officers who acted in “good faith” when conducting harsh...

I cannot help but notice the overwhelming silence from the GOP on the matter of ex-House Majority Leader Tom DeLay's prosecution and trial. Ever since he was forced to step down back in 2005, he has been in a kind of limbo or worse. Two things stand out to me: He was extremely focused and effective in his efforts -- none of which benefited him personally but which benefited his party and his state immensely. His success has earned him the abandonment of his party's members. No one says a peep about him. He may as well have dropped off...

It’s Moishe’s Choice Once Again by Norma Zager “Our forces saved the remnants of the Jewish people of Europe for a new life and a new hope in the reborn land of Israel. Along with all men of good will, I salute the young state and wish it well...” President Dwight David Eisenhower Comedian Robert Klein commented recently he is becoming more Jewish as he gets older. He has even added a few more “Oys” when he gets out of bed in the morning. The changes in America are less concerning for their political implications, although scary, as for their...

Cracks are beginning to appear in the military's prosecution of three Navy SEALs accused of striking a most-wanted terrorism suspect they had captured in Iraq. Maj. Gen. Charles Cleveland last week signed grants of immunity for five Navy colleagues of the accused. Some of those five, three enlisted men and two officers, are expected at trial to flatly contradict the prosecution's key witness, according to a Navy source close to the case, which centers on the September 2009 capture of Ahmed Hashim Abed. The witness, the master-at-arms at the base in Anbar province where the captured terrorist was brought, told...

A Yolo County judge on Monday sentenced a man who walked out of a store with a package of cheese in his trousers to seven years and eight months in prison. Prosecutors had originally sought a life sentence for Robert Ferguson under the state's "three strikes" law. They dropped that bid last month, saying a psychological report had convinced them that a life sentence wasn't warranted. At Monday's hearing, Deputy District Attorney Clinton Parish urged Judge Thomas Warriner to consider at least one of Ferguson's prior strikes – one for burglary and another for assault with a deadly weapon –...

I do not believe any announcement that comes out of the Obama Administration until I see the action match the words. An anonymous legal source has informed Carrie Johnson of the Washington Times that two high-level Bush Administration attorneys will not face sanctions for formulating policies that allowed water-boarding and harsh interrogations of terrorists like Khalid Shaikh Mohammed following the 9/11 attacks. We’ll just see about that. The American Left and its partner, The World of Islam, are not going to like this announcement – not one bit. This is not the end of the Bush-Cheney investigation drama. Persecuting them...

U.S. Navy Seals insignia (public domain) Government Has Yet to Provide Evidence to Support Its Prosecution of Navy Seals for Alleged Punching of Terrorist Norfolk, Va. Many people will sympathize with an Arlington, WA man who fired a couple of shots at a burglary suspect who later turned up dead with jewelry belonging homeowner’s wife in his pocket, because the homeowner has now been arrested for investigation of second-degree murder. Rzechula, 25, of Stanwood, has a criminal record, according to the Everett Herald. What allegedly occurred in this case will need some sorting out, but the basic facts are that Earhart...

Mark Fitzgibbons, President of Corporate and Legal Affairs of American Target Advertising, Inc., Manassas, Virginia, issued the following statement regarding the failure of state attorneys general to take action against ACORN: "Despite years of warning signs about voter fraud, embezzlement and other potentially criminal behavior by and within the Association for Community Organizing and Reform Now (ACORN), only a handful of state attorneys general apparently didn't need to be embarrassed by recent alternative media reporting and videos before taking some action against ACORN. Most state attorneys general have sat by idly, perhaps for political reasons with a trail quite probably...
