Actress-comedienne Sandra Bernhard declared on Friday that the country would not be experiencing “this chaos” spurred by the Chinese coronavirus if the “rightful president” Hillary Clinton were in office. “listen my wonderful lady we blew it this country hangs its head in shame you are our rightful President and none of this chaos would be happening under your watch, thank you for standing up, still,” Sandra Bernhard said in response from a sarcastic tweet from Clinton, directed to President Trump.

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit and Michigan State Police are investigating after finding a 500 pound pig trapped inside the basement of a Detroit home. According to Assistant Police Chief Steve Dolunt, an anonymous tip brought investigators to a house in the 10400 block of Orangelawn. They found the pig in a basement standing in feces. "No pun intended but it looks like a pigsty," Dolunt said. "There's two feet of feces down there." Dolunt said the caller told police the pig had been fed human remains. However, police did not find anything suspicious. Neighbors said the man who lived in...

At 56 years of age, Sandra Bernhard hasn’t become any less outspoken. If anything, she’s become more so. Two years ago, the comedian and singer made headlines after allegedly suggesting that if Sarah Palin were to visit New York City, she may find herself getting “gang-raped by some of my big black brothers.” This is particularly true in her one-woman shows, the latest of which, I Love Being Me, Don’t You?, a mix of comedy, music, and dance, she’ll be performing at the Painted Bride starting today through Saturday. She spoke with The A.V. Club about politics, Playboy, and feminism....

Comedienne Sandra Bernhard called Bristol Palin a hooker on Wednesday's "The Joy Behar Show." JOY BEHAR, HOST: After weeks of speculation that the low-scoring Bristol Palin could actually take the "Dancing With The Stars`" win, the nation breathed the sigh of relief last night as Jennifer Grey was crowned the champion (ph). With me now to talk about this and other stories in the news are Sandra Bernhard, comedian and singer, Rebecca Dana, senior correspondent for the Daily Beast, and Andrea Marcovicci, singer and actress. I called you Andrea. Is it Andrea or Andrea? ANDREA MARCOVICCI, SINGER: It`s Andrea. BEHAR:...

A Boston shelter for homeless women has dropped controversial comedian Sandra Bernhard as the marquee speaker at its annual fund-raising event because of her “gang rape” joke about Sarah Palin. Sue Marsh, executive director of Rosie’s Place, said today that she learned of Bernhard’s remarks yesterday after getting an e-mail about them. “We were horrified so we decided that we wouldn’t have her at our event,” Marsh said.

Rosie's Place is a worthwhile shelter for abused women in Boston Mass. Each year they have a a fund raiser featuring a female comic. This year they selected Sandra Bernhard who as you probably know wished that Sarah Palin would be gang raped by black men. After Reese Hopkins who is the only Republican Black man in Massachusetts exposed this on his radio show (www.wrko.com and then listen live from 10 til noon)He was called by Emily Rooney (Daughter of Andy Rooney) and also by the Woman in charge of the fund raiser.Neither of these self-confessed super geniuses had been aware of...

The more Obama's pals open their mouths, the less reason people have to vote for him. Democrats keep forming their firing squads in a circle. Such humor proves true as supporters of Democratic nominee Barack Obama provide help that does more harm than good. Democrats are in a state of high anxiety ... How does South Carolina Democratic chair Carol Fowler lend a hand? By saying Sarah Palin’s only qualification for vice president was not having an abortion. Thanks Carol. That was a big help. Then again, maybe she was trying to outdo her husband, former Democratic National Committee chair...

Therefore I sent e-mails to: Arna Meyer Mickelson Chief Executive Officer arnam@washingtondcjcc.org Margaret Hahn Stern Chief Operating Officer margareth@washingtondcjcc.org Ari Roth Co-Director, Center For The Arts tellari@theaterj.org The e-mail is aimed at Roth, and I added the introductory sentence for the two women. Here is the text. If anyone wants to follow suit, each in his own words, these birds deserve all the flak they can get. TEXT I sent...

Sandra Bernhard issued a vulgar hate-speech against Gov. Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show in Washington D.C., warning her to stay away from Manhattan. Bernhard refers to her as "Uncle Woman" and even goes to the extremes and says that she will not be invited in Manhattan where she might be "gang-raped" by her "big black brothers." "[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't...

The Washington Post isn’t the only daily D.C. newspaper to rave about Sandra Bernhard’s anti-Palin ranting. Wednesday’s Washington Examiner joined in, with the headline "Comedienne delivers enraged optimism." Barbara Mackay claimed "in the end, oddly and subtly, Bernhard’s message is positive." That’s not the impression you’d get from the blog of Theater J, where Bernhard is appearing. It has video of Bernhard calling Palin "Uncle Women," a "turncoat b—h" and a "whore." One complaint on the blog that Bernhard crosses a line of political incorrectness draws a defense from Ari Roth of Theater J that really drops the curtain on...

You won't be seeing any video of Howard Dean's x-rated, epithet-ridden New York fund-raiser because Team Dean made sure to bar the TV cameras. Which suggests they expected trouble. Maybe it was the same foresight that inspired Dean to seal his records as Vermont governor for 10 years because of worries, as he put it in a moment of candor to Vermont public radio, about "future political considerations. We didn't want anything embarrassing appearing in the papers at a critical time in any future endeavor." So there were no TV cameras last Monday night when pro-Dean comics took the stage...

Letter 1 Of all days On Mother's Day, I opened up the paper to a full-page assault on my sense of decency. The page 3A Hudson Belk ad showed what I could only call a "hillbilly hussy" seductively showing her curves. This is a form of pornography that really makes me sick because whole families look at your newspaper. Little kids look at this and say, "Wow, my mom doesn't look like that." Poor frumpy-looking mothers (like me) who contain a BIG heart, who endlessly pour out sacrifice and love for their family (as opposed to the outpouring of breasts...

Is it something in the water that Democrats drink? Or the fact that Dubyah's approval ratings may have slipped one or two points in some opinion polls (from a whopping 79 or 80% to a "miniscule" 77 or 78%)? Or is it all just a diversion to deflect attention away from the latest reports of Clinton perfidy in office as more details of the pardons scandal emerge? Whatever it is, the loony liberal left has been out in force lately, making the screwiest pronouncements -- all of which seem to be based on the assumption that the American people are...
