Larry David and Alan Dershowitz reportedly got into a verbal altercation in a Martha's Vineyard general store over the lawyer's ties to the Trump administration, according to Page Six. "We can still talk, Larry," Dershowitz, an opinion contributor at The Hill, reportedly told the comedian and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star after the two ran into one another. "No. No. We really can’t. I saw you. I saw you with your arm around Pompeo!" David retorted. "It’s disgusting!" Dershowitz replied that Mike Pompeo, the former Secretary of State under former President Trump, was a student of his at Harvard Law, where...

Attorney Alan Dershowitz blasted comedian Larry David after the Seinfeld co-creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm star “screamed” and “yelled” at him in a grocery store over his ties with the Trump administration, calling him a “knee-jerk radical” who “takes his politics from Hollywood” and doesn’t read or think a lot. “While he was writing bad jokes, I was helping to bring about peace in the Middle East. What has he done?” Alan Dershowitz told Page Six. “Larry is a knee-jerk radical. He takes his politics from Hollywood. He doesn’t read a lot. He doesn’t think a lot.”

Dershowitz said that David isn’t the only friend he’s lost — particularly after he defended Donald Trump over his first impeachment when the President was accused of trying to arrange a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian government. “That’s the price of principle,” he said. He later said that his “principles require” that he defend the Constitution, and that he felt that the first impeachment of Trump was unconstitutional. He told us that that’s why he removed his second t-shirt after the run-in to reveal the one that read “It’s the Constitution, Stupid!,” which he said his wife bought him...

I hate standup. Always have. I’ve seen a lot of it. “You gotta hear this guy!” “You gotta see her show! Even you would absolutely love it!” You just gotta.Bleh. Comedians making observations. Pointing out the absurdity of this or that. Coming at life from a slightly skewed angle. It’s so boring! It isn’t insightful. It isn’t even funny. Oh, I’m laughing my head off, sure. I’m surrounded by a bunch of hooting baboons. You have to laugh or they might notice and attack you.I don’t know why I’m this way. Could be because, growing up with ecumenical parents who...

Actor Wayne Knight, who played the malicious mailman Newman on "Seinfeld," is starring in a new ad by a Democratic super PAC slamming what he calls President Trump's "systematic, premeditated assault on the U.S. mail" in the wake of highly controversial recent changes to the U.S. Postal Service. "They had the unmitigated gall to try to slow down the mail," alleges Knight, appearing to speak as Newman. "When everyone knows the only person who can slow down the mail is a mailman." Knight, 65, then chomps down on a turkey drumstick while charging the Trump administration is intentionally attempting to...

Hollywood stars ripped Fox News’ Chris Wallace for his role as the moderator of the first presidential debate on Tuesday, saying that the news anchor was too timid and lost control of the proceedings as President Donald Trump took control of the stage through sheer force of will. Chris Wallace — who repeated that false Charlottesville “very fine people” hoax and erroneously referred to critical race theory as “racial sensitivity training”– had trouble maintaining even a semblance of order as President Donald Trump went on the offensive, dominating the show by aggressively interrupting and heckling Joe Biden. Celebrities seemed frustrated...

I’ve gotten more death threats in the past week than probably the average politician does — all because I wrote a column for The Post with the online headline “NYC Is Dead Forever: Here’s Why.” I presented facts. Plus, I told the story of my own lifelong love affair with the Big Apple and lamented its impending demise. Now Jerry Seinfeld — sitting in the comfort and safety of his Hamptons mansion, with probably five dozen rare Italian sports cars in the garage — has written a response in the New York Times calling me a “putz” and insisting...

“Seinfeld” actor John O’Hurley sounded off on Hollywood for suppressing “diversity of thought” in the wake of Debra Messing and Eric McCormack calling for supporters of President Trump to be outed. Trump plans to attend a Sept. 17 fundraiser in Beverly Hills during a trip to California that will also include visits to the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego, officials said. The “Will & Grace” co-stars took issue with a Trump fundraiser happening in their city and called for donors to be doxxed. “I think they have the bully pulpit right now to say it out loud. I don’t...

Borat director Larry Charles took to Twitter Monday and compared Trump supporters — or as he described them, “Maga people” — to the violent, pro-China “triad” mob who attacked peaceful pro-democracy protesters Sunday night and essentially encouraged far-left agitators to arm themselves for “war.” “After reading about armed #Triad thugs attacking pro-democracy protestors In #HongKong and the white supremacists/Proud Boys/Maga people embracing violence here I’m glad to see the left arming itself. This is war,” the longtime Curb Your Enthusiasm producer declared. Charles, a prolific producer, writer, and director, linked to a Guardian article that detailed the desires of left-wing...
