A would-be victim turned the tables on an armed robber in Chester, shooting and killing him, police said. The unidentified man was getting out of his vehicle . . when he was approached by two robbers, police said. When one of the robbers pulled out a gun and fired two shots, the man pulled out his own weapon and returned fire, according to investigators. One of the robbers was struck by the gunfire while another fled the scene. The first robber, who police have not yet identified, died from his injuries.

On August 13 Florida League of Women Voters (FLWV) Gun Safety Committee chair Patti Brigham will hold a conference for leaders who oppose arming women and other law-abiding citizens on college campuses for self-defense. HARRISBURG — A Delaware man was killed with his own gun after a botched attempt to invade a Steelton home. The fatal shooting started as a John Doe case, with the victims saying they did not know the man or his accomplice, Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick said Tuesday afternoon.
