    Interesting video interview below.  Texan Johnnie Langendorff arrived at the intersection near the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs and witnessed a good Samaritan (neighbor) returning rifle fire with the church shooter Devin Patrick Kelley.As shooter Kelley attempted to escape the area, together Langendorff and the armed good Samaritan gave chase in Johnnie’s truck.TEXAS – Summer Caddel said her boyfriend, Johnnie Langendorff, called her moments after the shooting at First Baptist Church and told her that he saw a gunfight between the shooter and a neighbor, who was returning fire.

Trey Gowdy and Steve Southerland introduced legislation today that puts America’s seniors, veterans and active duty military first in the event a debt limit agreement is not reached by the President’s August 2nd deadline. H.R. 2534, the Ensuring America’s Promises Act of 2011, would require the federal government to pay Social Security, Medicare and veterans benefits, active duty military salary, and interest on the federal debt before meeting other spending obligations.

    Steve Southerland on WFLA Preston Scott now... says he WILL “consider” raising debt ceiling.... please call in and tell him NO WAY !!! His Tallahassee office to open soon on Capital Circle accross from chik-fila Need to keep the pressure on him... For those who do not know. he is the freshman congressman (FL-2) who took out senior congressman Allen Boyd... he won because he promised to toe the line on the spending and FISCAL discipline... he has done some standing up to leadership.. but he MUST NOT give any wiggle room on raising the debt the ceiling ! PERIOD......

Allen Boyd (D-Fla.) is down a dozen points in his race against Republican Steve Southerland, 38 percent to 50, with 9 percent of likely voters undecided, according to The Hill 2010 Midterm Election Poll. Southerland leads among males, females and middle-aged and older voters. He’s also winning 12 percent of Democrats. Boyd, meanwhile, has high unfavorable ratings. The poll found 54 percent of voters gave him unfavorable marks to the 34 percent who rated him favorably.
