Politicians are the ones to blame for the surge in violence and lawlessness, and they seek to avoid any responsibility for the crisis of violence they have created by attempting to shift the blame to Smith & Wesson, other firearm manufacturers and law-abiding gun owners. But rather than confront the failure of their policies, certain politicians have sought more laws restricting the 2nd Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens, while simultaneously continuing to undermine our institutions of law and order. And to suppress the truth, some now seek to prohibit firearm manufacturers and supporters of the 2nd Amendment from advertising products...
  • [WATCH] One American Gun Manufacturer Is Fighting Back Against the Left's Wrath

Like many businesses, America’s gun manufacturers are feeling the deleterious effects of Bidenflation. Gun manufacturers, however, are additionally subject to the left’s ire and misplaced wrath over “gun violence.” After most horrific shooting tragedies, that wrath comes with the inevitably hysterical demands to ban “assault” guns and add even more stringent federal regulations on gun ownership while simultaneously vilifying all gun owners along with the entire gun industry and its workers. At long last, one American gun manufacturer, Smith & Wesson, has had enough. Smith & Wesson — one of America’s oldest gun manufacturers since 1852 — is hitting back...

Here's What You Need To Remember: The Smith & Wesson M&P (Military and Police) was first introduced in 2005 and as a hybrid of two previous guns, the Sigma and the SW99. Like the rest of the guns on this list, it has polymer frame and steel slide, a large internal magazine (seventeen rounds) and a striker-fired operating system. The 9mm Luger, invented before the Great War, is one of the longest-serving gun calibers in history. Introduced in 1901, it has served in virtually every conflict since then up until today. From World War I’s German army to the British army...
  • Honest Recommendation of M&P 45 Shield

So I have owned a lot of pistols over the years. Rugers, Springfields, S&W's, Glocks, Taurus's (OMG), and a few others. Does anybody have any good experience with the M&P 45 shield? I own a 9mm version and I am not happy with the the fact that the slide doesn't chamber when I throw or slam in a fully loaded new magazine like my other M&P's do. That functionality saves me about 1.5 - 2.0 precious seconds. What's the fix on that? Do you like your 45 shield? Concealable? Holster types? Recoil? Comfort? Anything else you wish to add.
  • New Grips for the Smith & Wesson No. 3

But the question is, how does the replica S&W New Model shoot with Triple K's replacements? In my story last issue about the new Smith & Wesson No. 3, I was able to tell you why I like that Uberti-made S&W-style gun. There are several reasons and I don’t think I missed any of them. However, there was one little thing that I wanted to change and that was mainly for personal reasons. I favored some original-looking grips, such as what Smith & Wesson used to have when they were making the New Model No. 3 revolvers, so I ordered...
  • Shield 380ez, The Easiest Defensive Pistol Ever

A worthy successor to the classic Colt Hammerless. Smith & Wesson Shield 380ex fills the vital but oft-neglected category of “guns as personal effects” which also includes cell phones, pocket flashlights, small folding umbrellas and other useful items that anyone can use effectively. This design bucks the trend of fitting more and more powerful cartridges into increasingly small and light weapons in favor of moderate performance allied to high usability. This approach can be traced back to the Browning-designed Colt Hammerless 1903 model (32ACP) and the later 1908 (380ACP). The two variants were streamlined, thin and (for the time) lightweight...

In our continuing discussions on whether pocket pistols are good enough to carry for personal protection. We sometimes hear of the small few gun enthusiasts that carry these .22 pocket pistols. For personal defense the goal is to always "break contact" from the "Bad Guy" if you’re ever caught in such dire situation. Breaking contact is to get away from the BG either you had the six sense to avoid the confrontation or caught in the fight. Once you have fired on the BG, the goal is to stop the BG from his attack so you can run away. Terminal...

A while back, a group of activists bought shares of Smith & Wesson to try and force the company into what they saw as a more socially responsible direction. Of course, that’s all a bunch of male bovine excrement, but what else do we expect from anti-gunners? What they accomplished was to push the company to conduct a study on product safety, which was supposedly a major victory. Well, Smith & Wesson conducted the study, and it’s unlikely the activists will like it. The group called Adrian Dominican Sisters, led by a nun named Sister Judy Byron, is part of...

A group of 11 Catholic groups came together to purchase stock in Smith & Wesson. The group purchased 200 shares, the minimum number required to for shareholders to demand reports from the company. Now, they want the gun manufacturer to provide a report that details what the company is doing to promote "gun safety measures" and "produce safer gun and gun products." According to an SEC filing, which is submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), here's what the group wants to see from Smith & Wesson: Shareholders request the Board of Directors issue a report by February...

It’s wrong to pre-judge a human being based on their racial characteristics. Beyond that, it’s stupid. Any marginally intelligent person knows this. A Christian, certainly, has no excuse for treating someone badly simply because they are of a different racial category. For a Catholic, it's a sin to do so. At the same time, as we watch political agitators wantonly destroying symbols of our country’s history in vigilante mobs, one can not help but be struck by their profound ignorance of said history. For these simpletons, the Confederacy equals racism, and everything having to do with it equals racism, and...
  • Smith and Wesson (S&W) Rebate Ad shows enemy states (with exception of Alaska)

Smith and Wesson (S&W) has been offering a rebate on some of its firearms. The interesting note is that magazines and ammo can NOT be sent to the following states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York With the exception of Alaska (Don't know why that state will not allow shipment of mags & ammo), all of the states listed are known to be hotbeds of radical, leftist ideology. The ad confirms that fact. Those states are the enemy of conservative ideology.

Hi trusted Freepers, Kansas recently passed a constitutional carry law. So someone I know wants to start carrying for protecting his family. He likes .40 S&W caliber because, well, it's superior to everything else in every way. He has a small frame .40 but it's a little too thick to carry comfortably (1.25"). In his search for a small .40 he's looking at either a Walther PPS or a M&P Shield. He has a few questions: 1. Does anyone know of anyone who has experience selling an 7-8 year old Taurus PT140? 2. How much should he ask for? 3....

Parodying 9/11 truther series Loose Change, Graham Putnam creates a compelling argument that the destruction of the first Death Star was an inside job—orchestrated by none other than Darth Vader himself. The repeated mispronunciations of "Alderaan" aside, this video, titled Luke's Change, is pretty great. It's not the first time that someone has joked that "The Death Star was an Inside Job," but it does a fantastic job of constructing a different narrative from the pieces of a familiar story.

ANOTHER piece of evidence we are living in a world of sissies: watching the NFL today, just saw a commercial for Southwest Airlines that showed their ticket sellers and flight attendants PLANTING STRAWBERRIES or something like that. What the hell? How about boasting about better service? Or a great new lower fare structure? Nope. In the age of the fruitiest Oval Office occupant since James Buchanan, we see businesses talking about their green thumbs. Pathetic.

World War II sidearm. Which weapon springs to mind? 1911? Luger? These two pistols are arguably the most iconic pistols of that massive conflict. Revolvers? By the time the second half of the War to End All Wars rolled around, fighting six guns were relegated to historical footnotes. Living on only through the legends of John Wayne and Doc Holliday, right? Wrong. Smith & Wesson revolvers went to war. Smith & Wesson produced produced one gun less than 40,000 ”Victory” revolvers for U.S. troops. And another 571,629 for the Commonwealth countries. I’m willing to bet that more than a few...
