Some in my family are "normies" who just don't have the energy to care about what they call "politics". They believe the government is corrupt but think there's nothing we can do - no good options - so they just want to ignore it and "remain sane". Basically they are black-pilled, and they say most people are the same way. How do we reach these people? This is what I'd like to say to them, if there was a way to get them to listen. Can somebody help me out here? “Freedom is never more than one generation away from...

An elderly, single friend of mine had to quickly downsize due to some health issues and contracted with an estate liquidator, with my help. The liquidator was listed as a preferred servicer in some trusted real estate literature, so we thought it would be safe. It was an off-site sale since his home needed to be empty for listing (long story) and the liquidator said it would be 30 - 45 days for settlement of the sale. Contracted movers were very friendly, local, and vouched for the estate liquidator. More than six months later and dozens of calls, and the...

Beezwax Records was established in 1997 as a sole proprietorship dedicated to the recording and distribution of brass, jazz, and blues music. Their home base is Elkhart, Indiana, where more brass instruments have been manufactured than anywhere else in the world. When the first Beezwax Record came out on October 31, 1997, it was in CD form. It was also date stamped, serialized, embossed, personalized, and registered into a database as a way to honor the passion that exists between artist and audience. The same holds true for the tens of thousands of CDs that were shipped since that day....

Fifty years ago tonight after a nine-month gestation I was decanted from my mother's womb. I very nearly didn't survive. When I came out I wasn't breathing or moving at all. It was twelve minutes before inhalation was finally induced. Some have wondered if I've been brain damaged because of that. I don't know. But here I am fifty years later, feeling better than when I turned thirty. God has brought me far, past a lot of dark times and pain. But I'm in a place where I'm truly thankful and looking forward to where the next fifty years take...

I purchased a decent network laser printe earlier this year and it’s been great. . It’s been great. Now we have grandkids and I learn that inkjet printers do a much better job of printing pictures. So I am looking for recommendations for network inkjet photo printers. My last one sucked (10 years ago) ate ink and never operated well. I figured there were some ameture photography people that could recommend a good network printer for pictures. The laser will handle everything else. One that works with apple/MS os would be great. Anyone have a good recommendation that doesn’t just...

The tragedy in Baltimore with the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge is fresh. Brave people are currently searching the dangerous tangled wreckage for any possible survivors and the dead. But where the news media this morning is also talking about the impacts on shipping on the East Coast of the USA and the impacts on traffic on the East Coast it is a valid topic of discussion to consider the next steps. 1. Reopening the Port of Baltimore will be a priority. The NTSB will predictably conduct a speedy investigation and conclude the primary cause of the collapse...

A few days ago, I listed an unused and unopened bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup for sale on eBay. I have a couple of these that I purchased in 2020 during the BLM riots and the assault on American culture. I had no idea what the level of interest would be for this. But I was mildly to start getting bids right away and the bidding price reached $38 at one point. I noticed a problem with eBay right away as they would allow to use the words or term "Aunt Jemima". So, I had to list it as "AJ...

I live in a very nice senior complex in Spokane, rolling lawns. lots of trees, nice neighbors. One of my friends moved into assisted living and her place just inhabited by a woman who parked all wrong. I went over to chat with her. Nice enough woman from Texas, very close to the border. My son was born on an AFB close to her house, so we established a connection. Why did she move here? The Border Patrol had knocked on her door, telling her a dead illegal was found on her property and she should move as far north....

Why did this budget pass? I thought half the GOP member were opposed to it. Shouldn’t speaker Johnson be fired for pushing through legislation that more than half the GOP members were opposed to? When will a Speaker with balls come along and gladly shut down the government? They need to embrace it. They have to say “Yes, I know hundreds of thousands of government workers will lose their jobs…I know Veterans will not receive services…I know some American families will be significantly hurt by a government shutdown…but we want to do it anyway. We want to do it because...
