When a lawyer files complaints and motions without a reasonable basis for believing that they are supported by existing law or a modification or extension of existing law, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer uses the courts as a platform for a political agenda disconnected from any legitimate legal cause of action, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer personally attacks opposing parties and disrespects the integrity of the judiciary, that lawyer abuses her privilege to practice law. When a lawyer recklessly accuses a judge of violating the Judicial Code of...

John Podesta was the fourth Chief of Staff for Bill Clinton; he also headed the Obama transition team. Today he is George Soros’ point man at the liberal think tank, Center for American Progress. In a recent interview at the Clinton Global Imitative Conference, Podesta explains that it is the high standards and tough vetting process that makes it so difficult to get the best NGO and business executives to work for the federal government. Podesta said, “We are denying the government some really spectacular talent” (See Video interview here) Consider a small list of the spectacular talent Podesta helped...

In a classic "damned if they did, damned if they didn't" situation developing with respect to White House hiring practices of disgraced and resigned White House Green Jobs Czar VAN JONES, through the magic and wonder of the internet and its archiving functions, the White House today has been caught in either a BIG LIE or a major scandal regarding the actual status of it's hiring practices--in contradiction to it's stated policy initially indicated in President-elect Obama's post-election days and through the transition. The webpage link to apply official was HERE. This was at the transition team change.gov website. From...

I don’t believe them. Or rather, I don’t believe that this is some innocent blind spot in the vetting process. An administration official said special advisers to the president, or czars, are not required to fill out the questionnaire that runs 7 pages and contains 63 questions. The entire questionnaire, the official said, is reserved for appointees who must win Senate confirmation… Question 61 reads as follows: “Have you had any association with any person, group or business venture that could be used - even unfairly - to impugn or attack your character and qualifications for government service?”… An administration...

As if to put an exclamation point on the mainstream media’s not so subtle cozy relationship with the Obama administration, none of the so-called media even bothered to cover the brewing controversy surrounding the now departed Van Jones. Despite ample evidence of Van Jones spewing highly inflammatory language on numerous excerpts of his speeches, the media some how did not find this issue worthy of curious inquiry, let alone journalistic investigation. The real test for the mainstream media will be what, if any, follow-up they will conduct on this story as there are many questions that need to be asked...

In the aftermath of the Van Jones mess the questions about the White House vetting procedure still remained. Are there a other people working at the White House with credentials that are much worse than Van Jones? If Jones was properly vetted, who overruled the vetting team and sponsored him to become part of the government? If the POTUS and his staff knew about Jones and his off the chart opinions, what does that say about the White House? Beyond his provocative statements, Jones is self described communist. Even though the cold war is long gone, that is still disturbing...

An administration official said special advisers to the president, or czars, are not required to fill out the questionnaire that runs 7 pages and contains 63 questions. The entire questionnaire, the official said, is reserved for appointees who must win Senate confirmation. --- However, Fox News correspondent James Rosen spoke with 911Truth.org spokesman Mike Berger on Friday and Berger said Jones knew what the petition said and agreed with its contents. "He did agree with that statement and he did sign on to it," Berger said in a phone interview with Rosen. Berger said the group's "original board members individually...

The resignation of White House environmental adviser Van Jones has revealed a lapse in the administration's vetting procedures that, nearly eight months into his tenure, delivered President Obama with an unwelcome distraction as he begins an important week on behalf of his health-care reform initiative. Jones's resignation late Saturday came as calls for his ouster increased from Republican leaders, who have been critical of past statements and associations that have also taken the White House by surprise. His departure as a top adviser to the White House Council on Environmental Quality leaves Obama's push to create "green" jobs, which he...

This isn't going to quiet any time soon. Now Sen. Kit Bond (R-Mo.), a top member of the subcommittee that oversees green jobs, wants a congressional hearing on Van Jones, the Obama environmental czar who's under fire for his past affiliation with the 9/11 conspiracy "truthers" and for calling Republicans "a**holes" in a video before he was appointed to the Obama administration. Bond just released a letter he wrote to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the chairman of the Green Jobs and New Economy Subcommittee, saying Jones "is becoming increasingly erratic and unstable as reflected by incendiary comments and repugnant associations...

Obama Advisor, Helped Van Jones join Whitehouse Czars- "Like Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett is a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine. And it is no stretch to say that she was a slumlord," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. "We have real concerns about Jarrett's ethics. Washington already has plenty of corruption. We don't need to import more of it from Chicago."

As a reader asks, how did Van Jones make it through vetting to become Obama's green jobs czar? Though very well regarded by officials of both parties, and a major figure in the new environmental movement, he's the type of figure who typically stays outside government. The only reason his various outrageous statements and affiliations haven't become a major issue yet is, paradoxically, because they're being driven by Glenn Beck.

Both Americamustknow.com and yourfellowcitizen.com are reporting on a couple of places in Democratic party rules where the party seems to explicitly admit that they are responsible for the proper vetting and, subsequently, nominating eligible candidates. All of this seems to tie in nicely with what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had certified as Barack Obam being duly nominated for the party. Read on for more info and links… Page 18 of the national party rules states, in part: K. 1. Based on the right of the Democratic Party to freely assemble and to determine the criteria for its candidates, it is...

Barack Obama’s selection for the Supreme Court is in big trouble. How do I know this? All week long Democrats have been on the offensive with Judge Soto mayor, touting no flaunting her Race and gender all over the media while daring any Republican to say anything negative about the president’s pick. Why if Republicans even as much as think about opposing the confirmation of Sotomayor Democrats threaten to send Republicans to political timeout in a corner where Republicans would not be able ever again to get Hispanic votes.

WASHINGTON – Filling in as guest host for radio talk-show host Bill Bennett this week, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Barack Obama was simply never vetted by the press because it fell in love with him. "The problem that we have with this president is that we don't know him," he said. "He was not vetted, folks. … He was not vetted, because the press fell in love with the black man running for the office. 'Oh gee, wouldn't it be neat to do that? Gee, wouldn't it make all of our liberal guilt just go away? We...

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Friday that President Obama has not been vetted thanks to a complicit media that wanted to see a black man become president. Serving as a guest host for conservative radio personality Bill Bennett, Steele, who is also African-American, said Obama's political philosophy and principles remain largely unknown. "He was not vetted, folks," Steele said. "He was not vetted because the press fell in love with the black man running for the office. " 'Oh, gee, wouldn't it be neat to do that? Gee, wouldn't it make all of our liberal guilt just go...

The White House said Tuesday afternoon that President Obama has "confidence in the process" of vetting senior administration and Cabinet officials despite the withdrawal of two high-profile nominees earlier in the day. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs came under fire during his daily briefing for declining to answer questions about whether there was a breakdown in the vetting process after Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Tom Daschle and Nancy Killefer, nominated to be Obama's first chief performance officer, withdrew amid troubles over taxes. In response to questions about the two nominees' vetting, Gibbs would only say: "The president...
