<p>I have seen a lot of FReepers state that they would NEVER cast a vote for Romney. That is my gut reaction as well. Mitt is on recored saying that I will vote for him eventually. His arrogance makes me want to prove him wrong and write in a cadidate. But I fear that will lead to 4 more years of Obama. Until I stare at the ballot in November, I don't know for sure what I will do. If it is a choice between Obama and Romney, what will you do?</p>

WASHINGTON _ The Senate on Tuesday resoundingly rejected a sweeping measure to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and other protected areas to oil drilling, as well as to approve construction of the Keystone pipeline project. Tuesday's vote was the first time in four years that the Senate has voted on a measure including ANWR drilling, and it failed miserably.

<p>March 12 (Bloomberg) -- The Obama administration blocked Texas’s new law requiring voters to show government-issued photo identification at the polls, escalating a partisan dispute over voting restrictions.</p> <p>The U.S. Justice Department is using its power under the Voting Rights Act to halt the Texas law, saying in a letter to the state today that the measure may disproportionately harm Hispanics. GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- A Grand Rapids Public Schools spokesman says a man was trying to make a political statement by bringing a gun into a school that was also serving as a voting site. The incident happened around noon Tuesday at Aberdeen Elementary School, 928 Aberdeen St. NE. Mitt Romney was supposedly named after the mitt-shaped borders of Michigan. He needs to win Michigan or his credibility may vaporize. But he seems to be neglecting the one key area that could swing the vote over to him: winning the African-American vote in suburban Detroit. Anybody hear Lou Dobbs interviewing a man last night who said (I believe) there were 22 million people receiving disability benefits? He also raised an interesting question when he brought up that 20% of these have mental disabilities, and asked whether it was appropriate for these to be able to vote. Since they applied for benefits claiming mental instability and the federal govt must have agreed, then it seems there is a strong basis for disallowing any right to vote. Amybody disagree?
