Bill Nelson, a federal judge has ordered all of Florida’s elections officials to give nearly 4,000 voters — or more than, no one is sure — whose ballots were rejected over mismatched signatures until Saturday to fix the problem and for their votes to count. ATLANTA - A federal judge has ruled that Georgia counties must count absentee ballots even if the voter’s date of birth is incorrect or missing, and he is preventing the state from finalizing election results until that happens. Federal prosecutors in Florida are reviewing date changes on forms used to fix vote-by-mail ballots. Feds discovered the dates were altered by the Florida Democrat party in four different counties, including Broward. “Cure affidavits” are due by 5 PM the day before the election, however prosecutors have discovered these altered documents show the ballots could be turned in on Thursday, one day after the election.

A "Provisional" ballot is one where the election judge cannot determine whether the person is legally able to vote because their name is not on the list and their name is not on the online list which contains all of the eligible voters in that county. The race for Florida Agricultural Commissioner is currently undergoing a manual recount. Last Tuesday, Republican state Rep. Matt Caldwell was deemed the winner and claimed victory at an election watch party in North Fort Myers.
