Wind Farm Interference Showing Up on Doppler Radar During the last several years, New York State has been a leader in supporting the growth of wind energy. As a result of this effort, there have been several "wind farm" projects developed across the region. In western New York, some of the bigger projects include the towns of Sheldon, Wethersfield, Eagle/Bliss in Wyoming county. OK, I can't find any NOAA radar that has been updated since 9:20-9:30pm central. Anyone know why? Checked a half dozen all over the country, all gave the same result. Not the world's biggest story, but kinda weird that they are all frozen for 2.5 hours now.
