CHARLESTON (AP) – Republican U.S. Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham said Monday that President Barack Obama should act quickly to send additional troops to Afghanistan for the war against the Taliban. McCain, of Arizona, told reporters after a town hall meeting on health care at the military college The Citadel that the president knows what's needed and he should make the decision immediately. "Then we'll work with him to sell it to the American people who are understandably weary of the conflict," McCain said.

Here is video of Ann Coulter debating Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera whether GOP Rep. Joe Wilson should apologize a second time for his "You Lie" Outburst, this time from the floor of the House. Juan Williams thinks he should have to, and believes Joe Wilson has helped Obama to galvanize support among Democrats in Congress. Ann Coulter does not think he should apologize anymore, and when Geraldo said he should, Coulter responded: "Republicans should do the opposite of what you tell them to do. Joe Wilson, Geraldo is not your friend." . . . (VIDEO)

Senate Democrats rushed to insert language into the healthcare bill to require verification of citizenship to receive government healthcare. It wasn't in there Wednesday night when President Barack Obama claimed, erroneously, that his bill ensured illegal aliens would not receive the taxpayer-funded healthcare. Republicans in the House tried to insert language for verification, but Democrats defeated those efforts. Obama knew this on Wednesday night when he spoke to Congress and the American people. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) knew this, too, when he called the president out on his lie during the speech.

The vitriolic debate in Congress is likely to intensify this week, when Democrats seek to reprimand a Republican lawmaker for refusing to apologize before the chamber for shouting "You lie!" during President Barack Obama's joint address to Congress last week. "I've apologized one time," Rep. Joe Wilson (R., S.C.) told "Fox News Sunday." "The apology was accepted by the president, by the vice president, who I know. I am not apologizing again." House Democratic leaders last week urged Mr. Wilson to formally and publicly apologize from the House floor, on the grounds that his outburst during Mr. Obama's address on...

Truth Czar Joe Wilson busted Barack Obama for misrepresenting his nationalized health care plan to the American people: Now he must be silenced. For speaking the truth, leftist hackers are attacking Rep. Wilson's campaign website with a series of attacks. FOX News reported: Rep. Joe Wilson chose an unconventional venue in which to level an attack on President Obama Wednesday night: a joint session of Congress. Now Wilson's opponents are counterattacking him in an increasingly popular venue for political mayhem: cyberspace. Sources close to the South Carolina congressman charge that hackers have blitzed his campaign Web site JoeWilsonforCongress.com with a...

(CINCINNATI, Ohio) - Joe Wilson, real name "Addison" presents himself as a hard boiled combat veteran, retired Army colonel and all around tough guy. He belongs to "white supremacist" organizations, fought hard to keep the Confederate flag in South Carolina and, when an aide to the notorious racist Strom Thurmond admitted Thurmond had a half African-American daughter, Wilson abused and threatened the woman in an attempt to shut her up. His real record is Vietnam. Born in 1947, Wilson was prime material for the Vietnam War. After taking deferment after deferment for college and law school, in 1972, Wilson was...

You may need to be a Babylon 5 fan... but then again, maybe not.Maybe Rep. Wilson should "apologize" like Sheridan "apologizes" in the Babylon 5 episode "The Fall of Night" (here, just after 33 minutes). The context is that a hostile race had prepared to fire on Commander Sheridan's space-station, Babylon 5, a sort of intergalactic UN in space. Sheridan had responded with deadly force, and the ship had exploded. After that, an Earth envoy cut from the Neville Chamberlain mold had told Sheridan that he was ordered to make an apology for the incident — to the aliens who had...

Rep. Joe Wilson said Sunday that he will not apologize on the House floor for his outburst during President Obama's health care address, even though Democratic leaders have threatened to formally discipline him if he does not. Wilson noted that he already apologized directly to the White House after shouting, "You lie," to the president during his Wednesday address to a joint session of Congress. The outburst triggered a political firestorm, but Wilson told "FOX News Sunday" that Democrats are just "playing politics" by trying to drag out the issue and force another apology. "I've apologized one time. The apology was accepted...

The normally nonchalant Barack Obama looked nonplussed, as Nancy Pelosi glowered behind. Surrounded by middle-aged white guys — a sepia snapshot of the days when such pols ran Washington like their own men’s club — Joe Wilson yelled “You lie!” at a president who didn’t. But, fair or not, what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy! The outburst was unexpected from a milquetoast Republican backbencher from South Carolina who had attracted little media attention. Now it has made him an overnight right-wing hero, inspiring “You lie!” bumper stickers and T-shirts. The congressman, we learned,...

It Pays to tell the truth, but it REALLY pays (and saves as we will see later) to accurately point out when others are not. Enter stage RIGHT Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina who has recently broken the 1 million dollar mark in fundraising. Wilson campaign: Fundraising breaks $1 million, passes Miller The out pouring of support comes on the heels of one of the most "despicable, disrespectful and disgraceful" acts ever committed by an individual, anywhere at anytime. WARNING the video below contains graphic language and is not suitable for enlightened, science based, stage two thinkers:

Trust Democrats to overplay a good hand. Rep. Joe Wilson's "You lie!" during President Obama's health care address has become the unofficial Republican response -- letting President Obama keep the offensive going. GOP congressional leaders are embarrassed. They asked Wilson to apologize; he only grudgingly accepted (South Carolina politicians have a history of not listening to other members of their own party). A poll in his district shows that Wilson's previously perceived safe seat is now in danger. Rob Miller, Wilson's announced challenger, has been the beneficiary of hundreds of thousands of donations in the immediate 48 hours after the...

Congressman Joe Wilson surpasses $1 million in contributions since challenging Obama! Some want him named "Truth Czar!"Conservatives who wanted a champion not afraid to take the fight to Obama have found a hero in Joe Wilson, my congressman, who catapulted to fame by shouting "You LIE" at President Obama when he falsely claimed that WE were the ones lying about illegal immigrants qualifying for benefits under Democrat health care takeover plans! Contributions have poured in from across the country from disaffected citizens willing to vote NO on Obama with their checkbooks by supporting a conservative like Joe. Over one million...

A source on Rep. Joe Wilson's campaign says his fundraising has broken $1 million -- and surpassed that of his Democratic rival, Rob Miller -- since his outburst of "You lie!" during President Obama's address to Congress Wednesday. The source said Wilson's current tally is $1,005,021 from 18,859 donations amid a high-profile campaign on the Drudge Report and elsewhere telling conservatives that Wilson is "under attack" for his willingness to take on Obama. Wilson, who initially apologized for his words, is now riding a reaction that has surpassed the liberal backlash to his words: Miller has raised less than $900,000,...

A source on Rep. Joe Wilson's campaign says his fundraising has broken $1 million -- and surpassed that of his Democratic rival, Rob Miller -- since his outburst of "You lie!" during President Obama's address to Congress Wednesday. ---Snip--- Still, Wilson's success -- despite having been criticized by Republican leaders -- represents the power of the conservative grassroots to reward politicians who confront the White House in the sharpest terms.

Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., rudely shouted "You lie!" when President Obama said Wednesday night that his health reform plan wouldn't subsidize coverage for illegal immigrants. Alas, Wilson shouted at the wrong moment. Obama was right about that. He just lied about a bunch of other stuff. "Nothing in our plan requires you to change what you have," the President said. Unless you have Medicare Advantage. The President will eliminate that program. Furthermore, the Congressional Budget Office has concluded that the proposed reforms will cause millions of Americans to lose the coverage they now have. It won't be "required," but it...
