Certain Republican members of Congress have played the childish game in recent years of referring to the opposition as the “Democrat Party,” hoping to imply that Democrats are not truly democratic. They succeed only in making themselves sound ignorant, and so will you if you imitate them. The name is “Democratic Party.”

I am a conservative Republican, and due to circumstances, I currently recieve SSI, AFDC, and food stamps. I voted for Bush twice and would do so again as he really is a compassionate conservative. Have any other conservatives here ever received government benefits?

To my best calculations, this is my 1,000th screen name at Free Republic! This one will undoubtedly soon be banned, and besides this one, I only know of one other that's still active. I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings.
