Senator Diane Feinstein (D-Calif) says that the Fast and Furious gun scandal shows that now, more than ever, we must abolish guns in this country.
Fast and Furious is the name given to a Department of Justice (DOJ) program that enabled Mexican drug gangs to more easily obtain weapons. Thus far, an estimated 2,000 guns are believed to have been conveyed to these gangsters by the DOJ program.
According to Feinstein, the fact that even government officials could make such a blunder argues against the idea that anyone should be allowed to possess firearms. Plainly, guns are too dangerous to be left in the hands of human beings. The only way we are going to stop the carnage is by disarming everyone.
If possession of firearms is restricted to only those authorized to use deadly forcethe police and militarythe daily tragedies weve been seeing with neighbors killing neighbors, husbands killing wives, children killing themselves would come to an end, Feinstein predicted. The governments ability to suppress resistance to legitimate authority and other criminal behavior would be enhanced. A new dawn of humane and civil intercourse between Americans would be at hand.

Excellent John. You captured the essence of an idiot Leftist once again.
I don’t have anything! See,,, there was this unfortunate boating accident,,,,....
Feinstein. It was on 60 minutes - and the story they were doing were the “loopholes” in original assault weapon ban (how a AR was no longer considered an assault rifle if the flash surpressor was removed or some such). That when Feinstein made that statement - if you own a black rifle the goverment was going to “round them up”....I’ll wager you today that she still believes that - but would not say it.
Remember what George Patton said about pearl handles on pistols.
If they wanted to spark an all out Civil War 2, this would be one of the first steps.
Was that an actual Patton quote, or just a line uttered by George C. Scott in the movie? Either way, envisioning Feinstein as a New Orleans pimp, isn't all that difficult...

Don’t know.
Wondered that myself.
