I consider her a classic media whore basking in her 15 minutes of fame and the spotlight.
Only 13% of her district turned out to vote, and she won only 57% of that. Her seat is far from safe.

Yes and no. I was a full-blown tmoboy as a kid. Nothing made me happier than getting dirty head to toe playing outside. I contacted ringworm on several occasion, much to the utter dismay of my mother who made me scrub up every night. maybe a missed a spot? Maybe it transfered from me or my clothes to the bed before I took my bath? I AM sure cleanliness helps tremendously, but you can still get the stuff.

Accusing US Southerners of having hookworm infection is common from Northeners and other elitists who want to belittle the South. Back in the late 80’s, I heard a lecture from a UK physician at a top medical school saying that the stereotypical slow-speaking, dull-witted, unhealthy US Southerner in his natural habitat was due to hookworm infection—because of Southerners going barefoot in warm-weather wet/rainy areas where outhouses and outdoor defection and no (or inadequate) public waste systems are the NORM (need to pay more taxes, huh!?), then Southerners contact the hookworm larvae from hatched eggs in the haphazardly-shed or inadequately treated feces of other infected Southerners, and the larvae burrow into the feet skin, then get into the fluid channels of the body, and eventually end up in the digestive tract where they mature and set up housekeeping and wreak havoc on the Southerners, including causing malnutrition and iron-deficiency anemia. Oh, and also diarrhea and parasite-laden feces to infect more people with. Hence the slow, barefoot, sick, anemic, idiotic, hot/muggy weather Southerner stereotype.
Aren’t we so lucky to have such a wonderful, educated, intelligent, caring, inclusion/diversity-supporting being (AOC) to show us what Democrats/Northerners/Elitists think about Southerners (red-state folk)?

I’ll bet she has no idea what zinc oxide is, or what antimicrobial means. But I’m sure she’ll claim only the rich can afford it, or are immune to it....

It is my understanding that there are public health facilities in every county. And, there is transport available to those facilities. It is risible to think that someone has to suffer ringworm, which isn’t a worm anyway but is a fungal infection, without any medical care being available. Further, ringworm isn’t that bad and is eminently treatable.
Does this mal-educated yankee even know what ringworm is? Does she know the meaning of “risible”, of which she is the quintessential example?
She probably thinks it’s a lot better if we acquire the new TB and other fun exotic diseases brought in by migrants.
Lard and sulfur work great to cure Ringworm.
I don’t think there is a cure for mz kotex and her problems. I read the last brain transplant rejected her.
