This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“Moscow-appointed Kherson governor involved in car explosion, Russian state media reports

From CNN’s Josh Pennington and Denis Lapin in Kyiv

Vitaly Bulyuk, the Russian-appointed first deputy governor of Kherson region, has been involved in a car incident, Russian state media TASS and the occupied regions’ official Telegram channel reported.

There are conflicting reports about the condition of Bulyuk.
TASS is reporting, citing the head of the regional Ministry of Health Vadim Ilmiev, that Bulyuk has been injured in a “car explosion.”

Ilmiev is quoted as saying, “he is wounded, his condition is stable, of moderate severity. He is in one of the medical institutions of the region.”

However, the occupied Kherson region’s Telegram channel is reporting that Bulyuk “was not hurt” and “miraculously Vitaly Viktorivich was not injured. His life is not in danger at the moment”.

The Telegram channel did report a few more details of the incident, saying it took place in the city of Skadovsk and that “one civilian was killed.”

It was not immediately clear who the fatality was.”

U.S. authorities are alleging that a former American pilot detained in Australia was involved in training Chinese military pilots how to land on aircraft carriers...

...Prosecutors allege that Daniel Edmund Duggan, a former commissioned officer in the U.S. Marines who was taken into custody in Australia in October, breached U.S. arms-control laws and was involved in a conspiracy.

I don't see why teaching how to land on an aircraft carrier would violate arms-control laws.

Perhaps this indictment is unclassified and there is a classified indictment waiting for Mr. Daniel Edmund Duggan.

I believe ITAR would be the governing law.

Penalties for not complying with ITAR include:

*Civil or criminal fines up to $1,000,000 per violation

*20 years imprisonment per violation for criminal charges

May he rot in prison.

I bet the real number of Russian tanks destroyed is probably closer to 3 or 4. Corrupt nazi soldiers fighting for Ukraine are too busy selling our weapons on the black market and stealing all the billions we bribed them with to actually fight the Russians. Who by the way are not our enemy. I’d be more concerned about our country and not some fake proxy bs war/ money laundering operation.

“Royal Marines deployed on ‘high-risk covert operations’ in Ukraine”

“The Royal Marines have taken part in covert operations in Ukraine, a senior general has admitted for the first time.

Lieutenant General Robert Magowan said the commandos supported “discreet operations” in a “hugely sensitive environment”. He said their missions carried “a high level of political and military risk”.

Magowan is the former commandant general of the Royal Marines, having joined the Royal Navy’s elite unit in 1989.

Writing in the Globe and Laurel, the official publication of the Royal Marines, he described how 350 marines from 45 Commando were sent to escort diplomats from the British embassy at the beginning of the year when it became clear that Russian troops were massing for an invasion. The commandos returned to Kyiv in April to protect the embassy as Britain sought to re-establish diplomatic presence after President Putin withdrew his forces from the Ukrainian capital.

The Ministry of Defence had previously acknowledged the presence of commandos protecting embassy staff, with up to about 30 personnel believed to have been deployed. However, it is the first time the military has admitted that British forces have also taken part in special operations while in Ukraine.

“In January this year, 45 Commando Group deployed at short notice — from the depths of a dark, north Norwegian winter, to evacuate the British embassy in Kyiv to Poland. The go-to 999 international emergency force, if you will,” Magowan wrote.

“Then in April, they returned into the country to re-establish the diplomatic mission, providing protection to critical personnel. During both phases, the commandos supported other discreet operations in a hugely sensitive environment and with a high level of political and military risk.”

Based at RM Condor in Arbroath on the North Sea coast, 45 Commando are specialists in Arctic warfare. The battalion-sized unit was heavily involved in the Falklands conflict when commandos took part in the battle for Port Stanley and the unit also saw action in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At the beginning of the year, 45 Commando were taking part in exercises in Norway when they were rapidly redeployed to Poland to help with the evacuation. During their training in the frozen mountains and fjords above the Arctic Circle, temperatures dropped to minus 35C.

As well as conducting special operations in Ukraine, Magowan praised the marines for their role in helping to train Kyiv’s armed forces. “Alongside wider defence, we have been heavily involved in training hundreds of Ukrainian military personnel throughout this summer. We are also planning to train Ukraine marines,” Magowan said.

The Times revealed earlier this year that British special forces were on the ground in Kyiv helping to train local troops. Military trainers were first sent to Ukraine following the invasion of Crimea in 2014 but were withdrawn in February to avoid the prospect of a direct conflict with Russian forces. However, Ukrainian commanders said they had received further training from British troops on the use of anti-tank Nlaws following the invasion.

The UK has also deployed cyber security experts to protect critical Ukrainian ministries. The specialists have been working remotely on behalf of the British government to foil attacks since February.”

...RK-360MC Neptune anti-ship cruise missile system in operation...

I thought that the original claim was that the ship was attacked by land based harpoons. Regardless, here's a pretty pic:

“British forces have also taken part in special operations while in Ukraine.”

Russia has complained about Brits taking part on the attack in Sevastopol, and on the Nordstream pipelines.

The initial reports were Neptunes, but that was quickly poo-pooed here and in the media because it was ‘impossible’ for Ukraine to produce such a missile - that was the story for several months afterward.

RuZZia sabotaged the Nordstream pipelines.

But fine with me.

EU needs to move on from RuZZian energy.

The only examples of special operations cited in the article directly relate to the protection of the British embassy, sovereign British territory.

Interesting read on todays inflation report.

“Inflation’s Cold Case”

https://archive.ph/sZ5rs

Headline CPI numbers are 7.1% Year over Year with core 6% YoY.

“Dig into Tuesday’s inflation report and, if anything, it looked even better. Core prices were 0.5% higher in November than September, which was the smallest two-month gain since September of last year. “

So 0.5% for last 2 months cumulative. Annualized that is 3%.

Of course inflation could get pick back up again, but there is a good case to be made for inflation coming down significantly next year. Inflation comes down, interest rates come down - stock market goes UP.

If interest rates come down, Nasdaq will go up.

Nothing is absolute, but those are the odds.

Fed is expected to raise rates 2-3 more times in first half of 2023. 1/4 point each time. With 1/2 point tomorrow, fed funds will be around 5%.

If inflation does come down in 2023, fed could start cutting in second half - especially if economy slows down alot (or goes into a recession).

The big tech companies hired so many (expensive) employees in last 2 years, they have room to cut costs and boost profits.

So my prediction is Nasdaq / S&P 500 higher next year with best gains in second half of year.

Just over 1 per day.

Other sources report that production pace is 15-20 missiles per month.

Also, Unit price of the Kh-101 is around $13 million.

Operational use of the Kh-101 in Ukraine revealed that Ukrainians are capable of intercepting most of these missiles...proving that Russian stealth is typical Russian junk.

Most likely, the interceptions were made with NATO-supplied air defense systems.

Harpoons had not yet been delivered to Ukraine, though they have now. If they have any Neptunes remaining, it’s only a few.

Very interesting article...will have some comments later today.

It is a pretty airplane. Strange that it is painted in the "Keith Ferris" paint scheme. Below is an F-4 in the original Keith Ferris paint scheme.
