Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Oh, glad for Jr., then.
A math and science geek! I think this is good.
So Rose will need surgery? Best wishes to you guys on that.
Thanks! She has a growth on her thyroid, which is benign, but which will still have to be removed (with the thyroid). We haven't scheduled it yet, going to try to get it done sometime before the end of the month so that we can move in May. We're buying a house!
What a fantastic day that must have been for Luke, to have you squire him around DC, since you know the place so well.
Congratulations on the house! Great timing, I think. It ought to serve you guys well.
Both Jeanne and I had surgery this fall unexpectedly, but we’re both fine. Hers seems to have solved some long standing problems. That was also not expected, but we aren’t looking that gift horse in the mouth.
I wonder what the guys from Homeland Security think about the discussions here by us rightwing extremists? Maybe they think this is all some kind of code?
You saw where Texas is now a terrorist state, didn’t you?

Hey... thanks again for the LOTR eBook for the Kindle.
OK... I gotta ‘fess up... I never read the books again before or during the release of the movies. I read the books about six times back when I was ‘tween 11 to 14 or so years old, but haven’t touched them since.
Now I’m well into FOTR for the first time in a very long time. Dang... it’s good stuff. It’s curious now to see the differences between the screenplay and the book. I’d forgotten how much I missed Tom Bombadil. :-)
John has a long moustache. John has a long moustache.
The chair is against the door. The chair is against the door.
:-)
TEA anyone?
Sounds good to me...
