Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Landlord is out burning more fence line. It’s loud and scary. I’m not watching....
Oh no - I hoped he’d stop before you got home. ;~)
Heh. You thought she was good on “Britain’s Got Talent.”

Wow. Just wow.
If I didn’t know what she looked like before hearing that song, I would think she’d look like Jessica Rabbit.

HA! Ya look great! :
[snicker] yep.
on another topic... in the “fertheluvva...” department:
Anybody else yet caught this new comedy channel show “Krod Mandoon”?? While admittedly I’ve only yet seen a bare few minutes... I don’t know if I should laugh or cry.
Cry... yes... most certainly.
OH, yes, now I’m certain of it.
nevermind.
Awesome.
Keep that and your “Wolverines!” picture and you can really freak out future daughters in law.
Depends on who their Daddy is...
Sooo.... we doing pizza and a movie tonight?
Heh heh! The problem is...I can’t maintain it!! I used to intimidate the boys terribly when they were little (and when they needed to be disciplined) but after a while, they figured out I was all bluff! Now when I scowl at them and say “If you don’t stop that, I’m gonna spank you on your bottom!”, they think it’s hysterically funny! We end up all laughing loudly (which amazingly leads to them stopping what I wanted them to stop.)
See! If you scroll down and find the above picture on this webpage...then scroll on down to the next picture below it, you can see! There I am, grinning like a jackass eatin’ cactus!
Discussion question:
I’ve brought this up before, but we’re thinking of getting Luke his own computer (sans Internet) for Christmas. I’ve been thinking Mac, but...
1) He’s familiar with a PC and most of his games are PC based.
2) What we want to foster is his interest in science and math.
I can’t decide if a Mac would be better, or if it’s just because I want to eventually upgrade to Mac for graphic capability and stuff.
Thoughts?
Well, assuming you don’t get a Mac that runs Windows, the games argument is pretty compelling. That’s probably what he’ll want to do... I’d check and see if the games he wants come in a Mac version.
Also he probably doesn’t need a whole lot of computer, right? A $400 Dell system is probably what he really needs.
Heh, they did what you wanted them to do, though, didn't they?
