I learned everything I need to do an intervention years ago from being a Big Sister. I have to tone down my authoritative-ness and ordering-people-around to get them to appropriate Mommy levels.

In other news, we’ve now come to the conclusion that our LOTR DVDs were not misplaced. They had to have been taken in the break-in. We had assumed they got moved in a rapid cleaning action. But it made no sense that the theatrical versions were gone from the shelf.
I’ve not done a complete inventory, but we may be missing others as well. Either that or we were ripped off by an orc. Or Wormtongue.

Well, I know what I want for Father’s Day and my birthday. We still have The Two Towers extended edition. I had it over by the computer because I’d been watching it. Will just have to get FOTR and ROTK again.
Or maybe I’ll just go for a boxed set.

I've got a peony that I planted several years ago near the dry stream bed. I thought it was gone, overpowered by the lilies and ornamental grasses. But it's “back” this year, about 2 ft. tall and will soon bloom.
I want to move it.
Can I do it now? Or should I wait ‘til after it blooms?
Or should I just tag it and move it in the fall?
