I recall a scene in the movie MASH in which Duke Forrest (Tom Skerritt) discusses Major Frank Burns as someone who says it’s either “God’s will or someone else’s fault” whenever a patient dies (in the Private Boone scene). This sort of thing likely applies to Kimmel as well.

I have to admit, I WAS watching Netflix when the Oscars started. Then at 9:00 I switched to Walking Dead. And only after that did my TV go to the Oscars. I saw the last three awards.
All I needed to see
Next year I will probably wait until Talking Dead is over.

Didn’t know the Russians bought Netflix. The lefties live in their protected bubbles. Once you pop that bubble and expose them to reality they are completely clueless! It never occurred to Jimmy that he actually sucks as an Emmy host and TV personality overall. Bubble Boy Kimmel is truly lost!
When I discovered I had wifi with my COMCAST modem and NETFLIX is eleven bucks a month, I divorced (what I call AM TV, as opposed to FM TV), entirely.
The entire visual/audio thing is for me, pure entertainment.

Kimmel’s not a great comedian, but its more than that.
60+ Million people voted for Trump, and some of them watch award shows... and after watching a years worth of every one of them becoming political bashing of the man they voted for, some of them have decided they aren’t tuning in any longer... Period.
That’s the real reality... pandering to the half that agrees with you, alienates those that don’t... and once you make it obvious to the ones that don’t that you are hostile to them, they will go elsewhere.
