We’ll say it again like we’ve said it so many times before: This heinous crime was 100% preventable. This is what happens with open borders and sanctuary cities.
This illegal alien was twice deported from the United States but found sanctuary in Jersey City, NJ before brutally murdering a 45-year-old woman and dumping her body in a public park’s lake.
Jersey City is a sanctuary city. And ALL of New Jersey was given Sanctuary State status by its new Governor and Attorney General.
Such lawless domains do nothing to protect their citizens, while shielding illegal alien criminals like this rapist and murderer.
The suspect in the rape, strangulation and drowning death of Caroline Cano is an illegal alien from Honduras.
Did he come in with one of the dozens of waves of recent invaders, or with one of the “caravans” the left is always defending?
According to Caroline Cano’s roommate, she had gone out for an early morning jog on Sunday and never came home. After a search, the 45-year-old was found dead in a local lake close to her home. Caroline was still wearing her sneakers when she was found by Jersey City police in the lake and hadn’t been there long.The Medical Examiner determined her death was caused by “strangulation” and “water submersion”. She had also been sexually assaulted.

I’ve suspected since this story broke that the victim herself was an illegal; when the perp was identified as an illegal, and nothing more was told about the victim except that “she arrived from Peru two years ago and worked as a nanny”, my suspicions were all but confirmed.
I believe both people involved (perp and victim) were illegals; the local media won’t clarify the status of the victim. This happened 15 minutes from my home; Jersey City borders my town to the east. Illegal Peruvians are filling my town as well.
Leftists know some major portion of illegals will commit further crimes after illegally entering the US. They hope cor it. They believe every additional dead white person is a good thing. That us why they demand open borders.
