A video captured of the event using the Model 3’s Sentry Mode feature was published by the vehicle’s owner on YouTube.

Judge Willie Singletary is seen backing out his Cadillac Escalade into the Tesla Model 3 parked next to him in the video, triggering the car’s alarm. Singletary then exits his SUV and appears to assess the damage caused to the all-electric sedan and even attempts to buff out the apparently visible marks at the point of impact.

In 2015, the City Council hopeful was sentenced to 20 months in prison, ...

You can check out “Willie,” here:

As an aside, we went to see Buddy Guy in San Francisco last evening. That beautiful human being (and stellar musician) has to be saddled with $hit like this!

Why? Do I have to be saddled with Hillary Clinton?

“Why? Do I have to be saddled with Hillary Clinton?”

Everybody in the country is “saddled with Hillary!” She is an “equal opportunity’ Piece of $hit! Buddy Guy professes to love everybody, even if they don’t love him!
Just who wouldn’t love that man is beyond me! He deserves to be a member of a race of people who are like him, not Willie what’s his name.

Caddy was a rental, so I guess it probably wasn’t pimped out.

currently in the running for a seat on the Philadelphia City Council

This hit-and-run and the 20-month prison sentence probably guarantee his winning the seat.

Caddy was a rental

I'm not sure it matters. I've heard that half of Philly drivers aren't insured anyway...

I don't know what the angst is, take a picture of the damage on site, file a report the next day with the police and then your insurance company.

No fault will cover it all but if you're smart and the damage is less than your typical deductible, get it fixed on your own or else the insurance company will up your premiums........

Judge Willis Berry of the Philly Court of Common Pleas was convicted of running a real estate business out of his chambers. I was on one of his juries and he treated us well unlike some of the psycho female judges on that court.

Incredibly poor case presented by the prosecution. Not guilty in 30 minutes. He came in to the jury room to thank us and I asked why the prosecution even brought the case. "They bring bullshit like this in front of me all the time".

A likable crook.

Additionally, the estimate for repair of the Model 3 provided to the owner by a Tesla certified body shop was $2000.

Teslas are super hi-tech composite bodies.
You can't put just any old bondo on one, oh no.
Only Tesla's lithium-ion bondo, or approved equal will work.
