The Disney trilogy comes to a close, and the Skywalker saga comes to an end. Here's my review of STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER!

I am hoping Yoda pops up at the end...he cuts Rey’s fricking head right off, and tosses the head off to Jar Jar Binks, to be used as a soccer ball.
It probably isn’t but I no longer care enough to go and see it. I’m reading and watching about it but that is as far as my interest is.
“Bombshell” - a movie about sexual harassment at Fox News - opened last Friday at 4 theaters.
It's hard to judge how well or how poorly it's doing with such a tiny sample.
Adam Sandler’s new film - “Uncut Gems” - opened at 5 theaters on the same day.
For the first 4 days, Sandler’s movie has grossed about twice as much per theater as “Bombshell.”
Sandler’s movie is classified as a crime drama and has actually received good reviews - if accurate, that's a huge change of pace for him.
“Bombshell” goes into wide release this Friday.
After the last installment inspired a giant ‘meh’ I’m not so eager to see this. Maybe I’ll go with my daughter.
The folks in charge of this trilogy made a huge mistake when they decided to not use material from any of the many books that have been written over the last 35 years. That was just really foolish. All these authors had worked with Lucasarts to craft coherent storylines which all fit together. Instead they make a terrible wreck of a story full of massive plot holes, is incompatible with the previous films, and full of PC garbage.
I was upset about this decision but was willing to let it go and see what happened after The Force Awakens, but then when I saw The Last Jedi, I couldn’t believe what they made. It was absolutely terrible in every way except for visual.
What’s really stupid is that most Star Wars fans have not read the books so it would essentially be new to most folks if they had used any material from the books at all. Only the hard core fans would recognize it and be pleased if they had done a semi decent job.
As far as I’m concerned, this trilogy never happened and is not part of Star Wars.
"This is not the Star Wars you're looking for."
And why do I find myself always rooting for Kylo Ren?!
And more Carrie Fisher? No to be morbid but her performance in the first of this current series was DOA. They should leave her to rest in peace.
Truthfully, there were only two.
It was a 1930s Flash Gordon serial repackaged with late 1970s effects. The dialogue could have been written by a fourteen-year old. I never understood the mania. I did however really like The Empire Strikes Back After that, it's been all downhill.
LOL! That would be great. As for Rey... it seems to me you shouldn't build an epic movie trilogy around an essentially unlikeable heroine.
Agreed. The most recent offerings have been formulaic at best.
Bombshell is gonna bomb at the box office. No one cares about the trials and tribulations Megyn Kelly had to endure in order to secure a $25 million contract with NBC. The horror!
But it will be nominated for Best Picture, and the directors and actors allowed a forum to spew more liberal talking points.
You would think nothing could be as bad as Princess Leia's Mary Poppins routine, but then you see in the trailer the Horseback Calvary charge on top of a Star Destroyer
Leia is a Skywalker, which makes Kylo Ren the last Skywalker.
Unless Luke had a kid we haven’t met?
Was there any requisite gay content in it?
Of course, two gals kissing.
yea....
i’ll pass until it’s on FX in 8 months.
the last one was completely ridiculous so it may take the 124th showing for me to finally watch.
For homo-perverts, dykes and cucks...
