Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz joined Tucker Carlson Tonight Wednesday to discuss the constitutionality of forcing members of the public to be vaccinated against the coronavirus, should a vaccine become available.
Host Tucker Carlson began the segment by acknowledging the argument that people dont have a right to endanger other people, your right to punch ends at the tip of my nose before asking Dershowitz whether the government has a right to endanger people who may have an adverse reaction to a vaccine by forcing them to take it.
The Supreme Court has said yes, and if the case came to the Supreme Court today, they would say yes, it would either be 9-0 or 8-1, Dershowitz responded. It is not a debatable issue constitutionally. Look, they have a right to draft you and put your life in danger to help the country. The police power of the state is very considerable.
Dershowitz added that he agrees with the moral argument that no one should be subject to vaccine that has not been fully vetted on the chance it could help other people and noted that he wouldnt want people to submit to a vaccine unless it is proven safe.

I won’t submit to a forced vaccination either, but y’all seem to be forgetting the ‘original’ vaccination, which everyone had to have-——————for smallpox.
Big distance between smallpox, and the China flu. Smallpox is roughly 1000 times more deadly. Close to a 30% lethality rate one smallpox, and 0.03% on the Wuhan virus.
do you have any rights NOW if you don’t wear a mask?
Why in the world would they be afraid? We voluntarily hid inside our homes for over two months for a “virus” that has a mortality rate of around .02 percent. We've sat back and done nothing as the Fed has bailed out banks and corporations all over the world; the average American won't go anywhere without wearing a mask that does nothing to hinder transmission of any “virus”, and is a part of some obscene shaming ritual. We obey ridiculous social distancing rules (because we know that a virus can't travel more than 6 feet) simply because “they” tell us to. I can't imagine why they've lost their fear of us.
It’s always a huge mistake to confuse long patience and doing all you can to avoid trouble...with complete surrender.
The line IS out there. The dangerous thing is that nobody knows exactly where it is, but rest assured. It is there.
He didn’t really advocate much for forced vaccinations, if you take the trouble to watch the segment.
But he kept saying that “the state has the right”...no, that’s a mistake. Maybe just a slip up, but the state has no rights.
Only individuals have rights; this is the central problem of the current political divide. BLM, antifa, and now the Corona patrol would justify any infringement in the name of “collective rights”.
Dersh knows better.
“Forced vaccination for adults is happening nowhere.”
No where at all to no adults at all? I guess you have never worked at any of those schools and really never been in the military.
You are full of BS with your answer, it is just wrong....
But you have to make wedding cakes for homos.
But no Photo ID card for voting.
We’re already wearing the mask of the best.
Must’ve been a typo.
>> However, your employer, your medical insurers, the airlines,...
Exactly.
I didn’t take it as his advocacy for forcing vaccinations, but rather he believed the state could do it at will if they wanted to.
L8r
Again, that’s government. What causes the unilateral thinking among employers, vendors et al? Government regulations.
I dont know. A lot of people on FR give me serious Crap if I talk down vaccines
yyyyep....
In a pigs eye.
“Private businesses can turn away customers for any number of reasons.”
But you have to make wedding cakes for homos.
Can to baker turn away a customer for not having a vaccine?
Corporations will come up with their own vaccine policies, and the government cannot stop them.
Want the job, get the shot.
You want medical insurance, get the shot.
