Actually, Brave is a browser, based on Chrome. The default search engine is DDG, but that is easily changed. They also give you the choice of using Quant, Yahoo, Google, and Startpage. (I chose Startpage, and removed the rest.) I abandoned Firefox recently after the comments by the Mozilla CEO, and abandoned DDG after looking at where it sends its corporate donations. Brave appears to be fast, and its Private Browsing function lets you use TOR for even more untraceability. It is also compatible with the Chrome plugin for Enpass, the password manager. I’m running it on four platforms now, one of them being Ubuntu Linux. Liking this combination alot!

Yup, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

True, but not beneficial. Any near-symmetric activity renders the technique useless. Furthermore, the use of these “invisible” channels only invites suspicion.
