Our country has a “launch on Impact” protocol for nukes due to these same leftist idiots. We don’t have energy independence or a robust functioning war industry because of these same leftists. And the ones that are functioning have to kick back to politicians.
Biden and the Democrats need this war to get Biden re-elected in 2024. Because no one will change presidents in the middle of a war. that’s just the way it is. But this is not an Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, Libya or Somalia. This is the country with the 2nd largest nuclear arsenal in the world, and a regime prepared to use them. It seems Joe and the idiots in DC are prepared to lose a few million Americans if it means they can get re-elected.

Whilst I agree that minding our business should be the optimal state of affirs, that does not mean sticking our heads in the sand. Its not 1787 anymore. The world is far more integrated. Something happening on the other side of the world could affect us EVEN IF WE MIND OUR OWN BUSINESS.
I think China wants a functional Taiwan.

Really? I would argue that a vast majority of Americans don’t give a hoot about Ukraine. The problem with opinion pieces like this is the assumption that “everyone” is aware of the issue; and that they have an opinion on it.
This is rarely the case. The average person on the street could not point to Ukraine on a map.

Every time I see something that raises my spirits about the progress of the Ukraine War I remember that there is NO reliable information coming from any side of that war. Some things may be true but that cannot be determined from the information available from any source.
