I'm on Twitter. I'm on TruthSocial.

On Twitter I see tweets from a wide variety of people.

On TruthSocial I only see the same people.

How do I see non-public posts on TruthSocial.

I tried to register on truth social but it required a cell phone number to accept a text message for confirmation. Bad idea.

It’s going to take time. You need to follow as many people as you can. TRUTH does a good job at suggesting people for you to follow. Over time you will come into more contact with their followers who you can then follow and start seeing additional “TRUTHs”.

Follow as many people as possible on the outset. Then, start to weed the ones you either don’t really follow or not that much.

You’re probably not going to follow more than thirty people regularly anyway, so it shouldn’t be too hard to get dozens and then weed back to the most interesting ones for you.

I’m actually thinking of unfollowing everyone to see what happens.

Wise, I absolutely agree. There is no reason why they should need a phone number.

I only see posts from Bongino, President Trump, Dan Bongino, Seb Gorka, Catturd, Denesh D’Souza and that is it.

It gives me the impression that no one is on the site or else I can only see posts from those I follow.

It’s still a small user base, and I don’t think the algorithm is completely worked out. Just keep using it and interacting and you’ll start seeing a difference in engagement.

You can search for #freepers and find a bunch of us on Truth. Also, post a message with the hashtag #freepers so others can find and follow you.

Me too, plus Fox News and a couple of others. Twitter shows you ads and "promoted tweets," while Truth only shows you Truths from your subscription base.

In the upper right of your home page is a section labelled "trends." Click on #Truth and you'll see a lot more random Truths.

Good idea. I’ll try that.

They’ve added a helpful new feature across the top where some of the key people to follow are listed. I found that yo be helpful.

Two of the best to follow for interesting comments is @ JackPosobiec and @kash

All, I pick a high quality person like @ LeeSmith and see who they are following and pick folks from there.

I use twitter, gettr and tried parler et al and find TruthSocial to be good and getter much better with each new release.

Now that they’ve added an Android app the user base should surge.

Happy trails.

Perhaps providing a cell # weeds out bots? Most real people have a cell# or two. Bots? Not so much.

I've developed a very healthy and informative feed over on Truth Social that is mostly free of clutter, trolls and other annoyances (that I had on Twitter all the time).

First rule: You need to start following a good number of people and then fine tune as you go along. Start with the obvious newsmakers like Donald Trump, Kari Lake, Gregg Phillips, Charlie Kirk, Dan Bongino, etc. Look for the verified red checkmarks on those account as there are still some Truth accounts posing as these people who are fake. Truth is doing a great job weeding them out but there are still some fake accounts popping up.

Then follow your fellow Freepers as much as you can as well as any Twitter users that have opened accounts on Truth.

I follow about 2,200 accounts (maximum you can follow is 7,500) which is more than enough to provide a substantial feed.

Then start digging into the comments on the threads that come on to you feed. You will find a lot of like-minded people who are not famous like the red checkmarks but they bring interesting content to the table (like a lot of Freepers here). Follow them as well and also see who they are following as likely they will have a curated list of worthwhile accounts to follow.

Once you build up a good feed, you can switch focus to adding content. By doing that, you will attract followers yourself and they will RETRUTH your content to their followers. Be sure to interact with people who respond favorably to your content. It's the polite thing to do and it helps you to build your audience.

You will occasionally run into trolls. Just block them as they will only distract you.

Some accounts are annoying in that they post repetitive things over and over again or they latch onto these "follower trains" which is nothing but noise that will clog up your feed. You can either unfollow those people or you can "mute" them so that their posts no longer show up on your feed. I only use that option when the account is following me and I don't want to be rude by un-following them. So I mute them instead. Which is still a little rude to be sure, but at least I'm not hurting any feelings as they will not know that I am muting them.

I was on Twitter for many years and I am already finding Truth to be a much better experience overall. It does take a little bit of work to get a good feed going but it's well worth it. Also, Truth is adding features all the time as it's still a brand new platform (not even a year old).

My only knock on Truth is that it is still almost all political. In order for them to scale to Twitter size, they need to broaden their content to be more than just politics 24/7. There is some progress being made. For instance, country singer John Rich premiered his new song on Truth and it went straight to number one on the Billboard Country charts on the strength of Truth Social! We need more of that kind of thing.

Many sites demand multiple logins.

Do you have a Schwab or other financial account? They demand verification and in the age of computer fraud, I appreciate it.

The phone number verification is sort of important if you want to weed out bots. It assures Truth that a real person is signing up. It also helps to prevent people from setting up multiple accounts as I'm sure each user account needs to be tied to a unique phone number. Once you try to use that phone number again, I'm sure it throws a flag and prevents the account from being created. Anybody trying to create multiple accounts on a social media platform are usually doing so to create mischief. I'm glad Truth is taking steps to prevent that.

Truth Social is still relatively small compared to the other social media platforms but they seem to be doing a lot of things right so that they can properly scale while providing a great experience for the users.

Twitter may have some 300 million users but it's a cesspool with a huge percentage of those users unverified, fake or bots and only there to disrupt and cause trouble. We don't want to re-create that with Truth.

Sure would be nice to see Truth Social stock get back to $100/share. Upon news of more federal government investigations, the stock plummeted and is now around $30/share.

It's obvious the Biden administration intends to harass Truth Social or shut it down.
