Twitter Files 9: A dog of many masters

It's amazing how much is coming out about how our government works triggered by the chain of events that has led to the release of the internal twitter files.

In installment nine, done by independent journalist Matt Taibbi, we learn that Twitter not only took its marching orders from the FBI, in what Taibbi described earlier as a "master-canine" relationship, it pretty well took orders from every other agency of government, too - defense, state, the CIA, the Department of Homeland Security, probably the DoJ, and even state and local officials, acting either through Twitter's private channels with the FBI or the DHS, or else through conduits such as the Center for Internet Security (which was how Arizona state government officials sought to censor Kari Lake's campaign, described here). The FBI even introduced Twitter to requests from its little friends in the Minneapolis Police Department who had lots of requests. Everyone got a piece of the action and Twitter serviced them all, "escalating" matters, as they put it in some of the examined tweets.

Taibbi noted that they were servicing so many of these agencies they were losing control.

Here is a screen grab from his Substack report of the tweet he sent out that also appeared in segments on Twitter:

Not to get into the tall weeds on this issue, because I haven’t been keeping up on the details of the ‘twitter files’, but I think if you are a website owner (person or corporation), you need to have closed door policy about information requests. Judge signed subpoenas and warrants only. Once you open the door of information to agents and offices, they will stick their foot in it and force it to stay open and I would imagine they will threaten you even worse when you try to close it than they would for never opening it.

What we do know is that the government in the land of the free has no business acting like Lives of Others internal security goons, which is what we had going on with this hive of censorship activity from many agencies.

The "Land of the Free" ended when the Kenyan Usurper was allowed to be installed as president.

After Trump won in 2016, the real election deniers claimed that some obscure paid-for fakebook posts from some unknown Russians .... seen by only the media, the clintons and the FIB agents who had to go find or create the insignificant evidence ... was illegal election interference that resulted in Russian asset Trump’s illegal and illegitimate election.

What has come out from Twitter thus far is an earthquake. NAMELESS FIB responses (cowards) to the Twitter files are being issued now trying to get back in control of the issue with the full help of the all major corporate media which has been using its censorship (non-reporting) tools. The breadth and depth of the trampling of Americans’ constitutional rights in 2020 is extraordinary, astounding. In addition, while Trump was in the WH the agency which help spy on him before and after he was elected, continued to work against him. My theory is it goes to google, fakebook, and corp media outlets too. Until faces of all the givernment, big tech and media people are publicly outed, compelled to speak under oath or exert their 5th Amendment right to remain silent, there will be no justice and our nation moves one step closer to disintegration.

Re: your “closed door” business advice ... “fellow travelers” (I am being kind with that description) will open the door without being threatened.

Since you said you haven’t been keeping up with the details (unfortunately) of Twitter-gate, you would have learned before your post that Twitter is/was infested with former feral givernment agents/personnel (including some very anti-Trump ones) who dealt directly with their feral giverment anti-Trump network making those unconstitutional, illegal requests.

If the 4th estate, necessary for a free country to exist, did not die during the obozo years, this issue and many others in the last 20+ years, would have grinded the wheels of feral crime and corruption to a halt - and included the arrest and convictions of many people, and a political changeover in DC like never seen before.

That “American” government agencies take it upon themselves to “control” what Americans think and say is basic fascism, to my view.

Indeed, I am suggesting that the once-said “fundamental transformation” of the US was towards a monopolar control system. Call it fascism, socialism, Communism, corporatism or similar names, it comes down to CONTROL of a citizenry. This is the antithesis of FREEDOM.

Big Brother is really watching you. We are very far down the road to a communist police state. Thanks Obama.

And Google and all the tech companies.

One party has complete control over the press. Not a safe time.

“What has come out from Twitter thus far is an earthquake. NAMELESS FIB responses (cowards)…”

They’re not nameless. Drag Zuckerberg back in front of a House Committee, put him under oath, and ask him for the names of the FBI agents he mentioned during the interview with Rogan. If he refuses to divulge them hold him in contempt.

Yea, I know it’s an empty gesture. But Republicans excel at empty gestures.

what I really want to see is Nancy Pelosi’s twitter messages from about Dec 20, 2020, and January 10, 2021. You can bet there would be some interesting stuff being sent and received.

The FBI and CIA have been breaking the law for so long, they now become quite indignant when questioned, thus their reaction to the Twitter Files exposure of their actions.

The rot in the U.S. spy/investigative agencies has been growing, likely for over half a century. That the FBI still is blocking release of certain records from the Kennedy assassination speaks of an ongoing coverup.

The agencies were very likely involved. And having “gotten away with it” thru coverup, this would embolden more corruption and more illegal actions. Based on the very odd connections between Hinkley and Bush Sr, and the CIA, it wouldn’t in the least surprise me that agencies in our government coordinated to attempt the assassination of Reagan, shortly following his inauguration.

Having gotten away once, criminals will repeat their behavior.

Google, facebook, twitter and others were the most frequent visitors to the White House during Obama’s term. No in the media was curious about that. So here we are.

Taibbi must be feeling some frustration from the lack of coverage of these Twitter focument missives in the major media news outlets. Not surprise, though.

Yup. Vampire Val Jarrett organized the corporate fascism that we see today. Disney’s opposition to the don’t say gay bill in Fla is the latest example.
