Around 8,000 revelers gathered around a prehistoric stone circle on a plain in southern England to express their devotion to the sun, or to have some communal fun.
Druids, pagans, hippies, local residents and tourists, many clad in an array of colorful costumes and even antlers, stayed and celebrated at Stonehenge for the night and greeted sunrise on Wednesday, which is the longest day in the Northern Hemisphere.

These people are probably playing around. I visited Stonehenge when I was in England for a week. It’s smaller and less impressive than you might think
Surrounding English villages were for more interesting and atmospheric.
The quite fake Most Ancient Order of Druids is an unusually stupid organization, Stonehenge wasn't built by druids, and wasn't built as an observatory.
Stonehenge was the first attempt at a huge Shopping Mall..............
That Merlin guy was amazing, putting all those huge stones in place.
